The left gloms onto trivia. The left have decided that Indians should be offended by the Redskins name. So, they are taking up the cause of cleansing America of Indian nicknames.
Irony is that many of these liberals aren’t even football fans or follow sports at all. But they are busy bodies who will tell the rest of us how to live.
Reminds me a bit of the reaction to the Obama rodeo clown at the rodeo. The liberals who were agahst at that know nothing about the rodeo, and do not follow rodeo. Yet they knew all about how allegedly disrespectful it was to have an Obama masked rodeo clown.
If I were a Redskin, I’d be offended that they use the name Washington.
In truth, no one is troubled by the name today.
A few leftists with an agenda dishonestly claim to be offended. They have the backing of the Democrat Party and the Obama Administration.
Anything to distract attention away from Obama’s scandals and failures.

They want to have Warren waiting in the wings as Understudy or perhaps Designated Hitter. The luster has worn off their “it is time for a black president” schtick and they are worried that “it is time for a woman president” might not be enough.
So, they’ve decided to add “native-American (oppressed by evil white male team owners)” to their candidate’s list of qualifications to be President. They would try adding LGBTQRXYZ, but even they have enough sense that will not fly (at least in ‘flyover country’).

If you cannot express yourself contrary to leftism, then leftism is the only state of mind you recognize.
