He already has the powers assigned to the executive branch through current laws. This should include deportation. Heck, we even have authorised a wall that never got finished. He could start finishing that tomorrow.

He has all the power he needs to deal with it the way it needs to be dealt with. If Congress refuses he’ll say the problem is all theirs. (And, it will work with the no-information voter.)

Obama is coming under pressure from Republicans who say his pro-immigration policies have helped lead to the surge by giving people the idea that they’ll be allowed to stay in the United States. Now where would they get that idea?
