The Army has no reason to believe that Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl collaborated with his Taliban captors during his five years as a prisoner, as some have speculated, and he has not said anything that might incriminate him in other misconduct, Army officials said Wednesday.
A two-star Army general is currently investigating the exact circumstances of Bergdahls 2009 disappearance from his post in Afghanistan, which led to his capture by the Taliban-allied Haqqani network.
Investigators have not yet interviewed Bergdahl, who was released May 31 as part of a controversial prisoner exchange with the Taliban. He is now living at a San Antonio military base, where specialists are helping him reintegrate into society after his prolonged captivity, some of which he spent locked in a cage.
Some of Bergdahls fellow soldiers have speculated publicly that he may have collaborated with this captors while he was a prisoner.
Army officials said Wednesday that they had no evidence of that so far, an assessment based on an earlier Army investigation conducted just after Bergdahls capture as well as on what Bergdahl has said so far to members of his reintegration team....

It seeems the only justice, for this treasonous snake, is to re-unite him with his unit buddies, and host them in an undisclosed off-duty Marine bar, and clear the area of all newsmen and bloggers, till dawn.

POWs get extra benefits, such as free dental care, that almost all other veterans do without.
Given the kinds of treatment traitors and deserters get in the military recently, I sadly have zero desire to serve, and don’t envy them either. It’s really sad, but it’s also true. Bergdahl deserted at the very least. Sometimes I wish that they could apply Civil War Union justice to deserters. But nowadays, politicians will do anything, including reward deserters.
