The Army has no reason to believe that Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl collaborated with his Taliban captors during his five years as a prisoner, as some have speculated, and he has not said anything that might incriminate him in other misconduct, Army officials said Wednesday.
A two-star Army general is currently investigating the exact circumstances of Bergdahls 2009 disappearance from his post in Afghanistan, which led to his capture by the Taliban-allied Haqqani network.
Investigators have not yet interviewed Bergdahl, who was released May 31 as part of a controversial prisoner exchange with the Taliban. He is now living at a San Antonio military base, where specialists are helping him reintegrate into society after his prolonged captivity, some of which he spent locked in a cage.
Some of Bergdahls fellow soldiers have speculated publicly that he may have collaborated with this captors while he was a prisoner.
Army officials said Wednesday that they had no evidence of that so far, an assessment based on an earlier Army investigation conducted just after Bergdahls capture as well as on what Bergdahl has said so far to members of his reintegration team....

No reason to believe IRS targetted conservatives...
No reason to believe Obama was born in Indonesia...

No reason at all, you foolish peasants
You got it exactly right.
Don’t ask, he won’t tell. Coverup.
The only way this could be true is if he had no information to share.
I have a real good “reason to believe”. He’s a deserter who went over to the enemy. Any questions?
Isn’t that the truth. The battalion had his number and kept him in the freezer. Apparently, his “hosts” feltvthe same and shunned him too. A pathetic case all around. He should have never joined up. But with that dad of his, well, it explains a lot.
and the Rosenbergs said they had nothing to do with spying for the Soviet Union.. and ALL the liberal progressives believed them
Here it comes...........

He still has his head, that is pretty good evidence to me.
From first paragraph:
“”The Army has no reason to believe that Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl collaborated with his Taliban captors...he has not said anything that might incriminate him in other misconduct.””
Two paragraphs down,
“Investigators have not yet interviewed Bergdahl, who was released May 31.”
Lord, help us.
In other words, the Army — under orders from the White House — will not pursue charges against Bergdahl and will allow him to quietly leave the military with an honorable discharge and full benefits. B
He simply walked off the Army’s compound to mingle with the locals and found himself in a Taliban camp for five years. Happens all the time. Nothing to see here.. move along.
Must be nice to already have pre-written memo’s laid out...all one has to do is read it like a movie script!
I think I’ve been abducted by aliens and transported to another Earth!
Is there a snow balls chance of an honest investigation, or will pigs take flight training first?
Yes. I guess all those sequestered, intense ‘reintegration’ regimes the Army was doing for him was to avoid looking for anything he did wrong.
If they would not allow anyone with any integrity to question him about his going missing, etc., how could they ‘interrogate’ him about his captivity?
My guess is the one and only question they asked him was, “Tough break there Bowe, I’m sure you were a good boy during your stay, weren’t you?”
