As the Army continues to investigate whether Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl is guilty of deserting his unit, this afternoon they said there is no reason to believe that Bergdahl engaged in any misconduct during his five years in captivity.

>> That was a quick investigation

Unlike the endless 7 year persecution of the Haditha Marines.

That was a quick investigation. The Army must be more efficient than when I was a soldier.

And it took them over two years to conduct my background investigation for my security clearance, but then again I'm no squeaky clean Bergdahl, I actually had a couple traffic tickets....

Let’s turn Bowe loose to establish residency in AZ, and succeed McCain.

And just how does the Army know this? Were they in captivity with him?...

Thats the point. Were they in captivity with him to observe any misconduct? They just don’t know either way.

Nevermind his captors bragged about him helping with IEDs. How about his wrongdoing in deserting or will they sweep that under the rug as well? Can’t have anything tarnish The Won’s crown.

Snowden - extremely dangerous traitor.

Bergdahl - innocent rose, totally innocuous.

???????

“A” for consistency, though.

If they don’t have the evidence, fair enough. But his desertion is an entirely different matter. If they do a cursory inquiry with the same pronouncement, it’ll be obvious that the Commander-in-Chief has been doing some commanding.

Gee whiz, the Army must have asked him and replied he was just a POW.

Must have used a lot of Borox to wash this decision. I can’t wait for Obama’s Army to announce their computer crashes!

The Army must be scrupulous about these things. See how carefully they studied all aspects concerning Major Nidal Hasan, before proceeding with the provisions of the UCMJ.

Can’t think of a single factor that would have made the military authorities act in such a circumspect manner. One would think that they would have been equally as thorough with Bowe Bergdahl.

Depends, of course, on what they are trying (or not trying) to prove.

They can’t charge him with misconduct in captivity without proof, and I doubt the Taliban were letting Army observers in to watch.

I paid all my dues so I picked up my shoes
I got up and walked away, oh, I was just a boy
I didnt know how to play Ive worked hard and failed
Now all I can say is I threw it all away

Oh, I was just a boy, giving it all away
Sail away, sail away, ooh, well, I know better now
I know better now, giving it all away

I'm glad to know that the Army now concurs that while 0bamao may have traded 5 highly capable and dangerous jihadis for a deserter, he didn't trade for a traitor or enemy combatant.

Absolute BS!!! This is a total cover-up to make Obama look good to the nation. Every stinking officer involved with any investigation of this piece of garbage knows that if he/she makes any decision that makes the Communist Czar in Sodom on the Potomac look bad, said career is over. This is to make brown nose points with the garbage in the White House. Makes me sick to think of those men who died trying to “save” this piece of garbage. He’ll get his $300 thousand and sit happy with his muzzie loving daddy. Both are enemies of the Republic. Makes me sick to say I was in the same Army. Makes me sick that I served in an Army that is now pandering to this garbage.

That was quick. Last I heard, two days ago, they hadn’t even interviewed him yet.
