If they don’t have the evidence, fair enough. But his desertion is an entirely different matter. If they do a cursory inquiry with the same pronouncement, it’ll be obvious that the Commander-in-Chief has been doing some commanding.

The Wire headline is slightly misleading
ALL the Army is saying is at this point they have no reason to think he helped the terrorists

It says NOTHING about desertion.That will come after the investigation. I think the 2star investigating will call for an article32

I hope the 2 star has more balls than that POS 0dumbo

They are going to deal with the desertion separately. I believe that he will be discharged with a dishonorable discharge due to desertion. They are also thinking about taking back the 200K that he was paid during his years of captivity. I say great to both.
