Electing a liberal white guy for leader over a conservative hispanic doesnt prove the GOP is anti hispanic just anti conservative... or... maybe both

It means the Establishment in the GOPe is “Well Established”.....

Even though it wasn’t really the fact he was White the reason they voted for him, it was the fact that he was an ingrained figure in the establishment...

The GOPe would vote for a Lesbian Eskimo if she was well connected to the K-Street Power Brokers....

Hell they would vote for a Rusty Nail if it was a well established part of the K-Street lobbyists...

“The day’s second election, to succeed McCarthy as party whip, remained an unpredictable three-way competition among Reps. Steve Scalise of Louisiana, Peter Roskam of Illinois and Marlin Stutzman of Indiana.

The new leaders will govern for only 12 legislative days between when Cantor officially calls it quits on July 31 and November’s midterm elections.

Congress is off most of August and October.”

12 days of work between when Cantor steps down and the election in Nov???? Good heavens, how can we expect them to work this hard?

For me, the real proof that there are no Conservatives was the 98-0 vote to approve ODimwit’s Judge nominee the other day.

It is either proof of that or proof the NSA and other Executive branch organistations have been aimed at all the members of the legislature who don’t have a D by their name...

We can absorb the loss. We have a huge buffer in the house.

Famous last words. We have a ton of conservatives who are demoralized and we will probably never get them back to the polls so I wouldn't count on that win-win scenario.

That being said, I would never vote for GOPe but then that just reinforces what I just said, no guarantees on a majority thanks to the uniparty.

No Republican is going to support any kind of amnesty in the current climate.

Which is why they will wait to push it through during the lame duck session immediately after the November elections.

No they won't.

They know Tea Party voters will not forget over the course of two years. They are about self-preservation.

The only reason they even support amnesty in the first place is the political contributions they receive that tells them to support amnesty.

I think they've been convinced that the rage of Tea Party voters will damage their viability more than the monetary contributions will help. The ONLY thing they care about is keeping their cushy powerful perk-rich job in politics.

If I'm wrong, I'll eat my cat.

Typical gesture of a GOP-E chicken politician.

The Rino's have selected another democrat in disguise to help the democrat party achieve its goals.

Great, that's just great (/s).

At least a good Texan, Scalise, got the WHIP spot. Way better than getting one from either Indiana or Illinois.

We have two avenues to kill the GOPe, the long hard costly way of primary removal and overcoming the press and big money.Or walk away vote RAT and let them be replaced temporary by someone else till a conservative can be voted into office.

Your first avenue is the only option. The second avenue got us President Obama both terms along with House Speaker Pelosi (from 2007 to 2011) and Senate Majority Leader Reid (from 2007 to present).

A Republican majority in Congress made up of conservatives and RINOs is preferable to a Democrat majority made up of left wing liberals and far left wing liberals.

During the first two years of Obama's first term, the Democrats owned the federal government and could pass any piece of crap legislation that they wanted and approve every lifetime appointment that Obama made. We will be paying for those two years for a generation to come.

Even if we are able to elect a conservative Republican president and conservative majorities in Congress in 2016 and throw out Obamacare, Obama's war on coal, and Obama's open border illegal alien policies, Obama's federal judges will be legislating from the bench for the next 30 years.

I hope you are right, but I am afraid that you will be eating cat for Christmas dinner.

The more RINOs we are able to throw out in the primaries, the more likely that the departing RINOs will push amnesty through after the November election. What have they got to lose?

There comes a point, when nothing else will work, you have to look at things like this. I do not for a nanosecond think that a Dem is a good idea. But consider this:

For DECADES now, we have been told that the lesser evil thing is better than ‘throwing away your vote’ on a conservative. Why is it that that same basic philosophy is suddenly the “Worst idea EVAH!!!” to many of the people that believe in it when it is reversed?

Because the dem CANNOT do more damage than the Rino. The Rinos have mirrored the actions of the Dems Mirrored it. You cannot be different when you reflect.

Of course people are saying no way. It goes against their life belief system. I get that completely. Perhaps now they are open to actually voting for a conservative instead?

Perhaps we have the numbers to force a conservative? Of course we do. the only people that ever stopped a conservative candidate was the GOP no matter what votersthat empowered the GOPe all along. If they wake up to the reality of this, they will see that we NEVER had to resort to a Dem vote. We have the numbers if they join us to have the conservative.

WE HAVE THE NUMBERS TO FORCE IT.

but until they join us, we don’t. And they cannot win without us. This is simple math. They claim to be conservative. We are conservative pushing conservatives. If they join us, we both win. We will NEVER AGAIN join them so they cannot with with a RINO.

They have two choices to get the conservative governance they claim to want. Join us and win or take the Dem road and win eventually after an election or two when a conservative retakes the spot.
A rino never will as we will never vote for them again.
Not hard to see the smart path here.

To me, the thing that blew Raul Labrador’s chances was that he couldn’t control the supposed “Tea Party” activists who didn’t regard him as pure enough and attacked him in his home state at the convention last week. He clearly wasn’t strong and effective.

Everybody on the right has their own dog and their own pony in this dog and pony show, but they never think about the overall show.
