Cheney re Obama: Rarely has a U.S. president been so wrong about so much at the expense of so many.
As the terrorists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) threaten Baghdad, thousands of slaughtered Iraqis in their wake, it is worth recalling a few of President Obama's past statements about ISIS and al Qaeda. "If a J.V. team puts on Lakers' uniforms that doesn't make them Kobe Bryant" (January 2014). "[C]ore al Qaeda is on its heels, has been decimated" (August 2013). "So, let there be no doubt: The tide of war is receding" (September 2011).
Rarely has a U.S. president been so wrong about so much at the expense of so many. Too many times to count, Mr. Obama has told us he is "ending" the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan—as though wishing made it so. His rhetoric has now come crashing into reality. Watching the black-clad ISIS jihadists take territory once secured by American blood is final proof, if any were needed, that America's enemies are not "decimated." They are emboldened and on the march.
Obama is is so far over his head it’s like he’s standing at the bottom of the ocean. Add to that his brain trust of Susan Rice, Joe Biden, Eric Holder, Minny Mouse, and it’s downright scary.
However, things are rolling down hill fast now with his incompetent administration calling the wrong shots at every turn.

Exactly. As Rush said today, “He’s just getting started” and is in his glory. He has no one to answer to now. He’s not running for anything. A Republican Congress will not stop him.
And people in other countries, who as a rule have forgotten more history than American students are exposed through through the B.A. level, generally know the answers.
So I conclude that the questions aren't really questions. They're politely-worded warnings from our friends.
The libRats' biggest victory of the Watergate Campaign was convincing RiNO types that they absolutely must NOT fight back like Dick Nixon did, that they would get what Nixon got if they did.
Of course, they were always bigger hypocrites and liars than Tricky Dick ever dreamed of becoming, even on his worst day. (We can discuss that.)

It’s not hard to convince someone of something they have no stomach for in the first place.
And as for Nixon, I’m not entirely convinced Nixon was the big bad ogre that he’s been portrayed as. Most of that “history” has been written by the left. Just like Joe McCarthy’s continued perpetual smearing.
I think he is extremely competent at being a traitor, less so at being a Commie thug . . . primary example, bungled IRS anti-dissident operations.
It's more than incompetence Hume. It's grand incompetence mostly caused by a bankrupt political philosophy of Marxism to third world thinking that is always doomed to failure. Along with his willful hate to cause harm as much as he can possible do to the world, and to create chaos to the United States' values, laws, and economic production.

That said, I have always liked that “Darth Cheney” pic from inauguration day.
Believe me, they are. Just before the 2010 and 2012 elections, no DemonRat wanted Zero anywhere near their campaign. When Zero offered, it was always, "No, that's okay...ummm...go call Senator XYZ, he needs more help than I do." Even the lapdog media was reporting it quite regularly and it was getting quite awkward for Zero to keep getting rebuffed.
They know he's a screwhead, they're just keeping quiet. But every so often, one of the Congressional DemonRats slips at a townhall meeting and says, "I know O is screwing up in biblical proportions, do you think I'd do something if I could?!?!"
Well, this IS the Obama State Department so I'm guessing they were actively trying to lose Iraq to al Qeada and ISIS.They just followed Hillary's orders that worked so well for Americans a Benghazi. And, there's John F’ing Kerry [he was in Vietnam fight for the communists] and he's been helping lose Iraq also.
