Full Title: ISIS continues toward Baghdad, U.S. Marines and Army arrive at our embassy, Obama golfed a full round////
There are more rumors coming from Iraq that ISIS is making even more headway towards Baghdad, threatening our enormous embassy with our American diplomats and staff. In response, the State Department announced that U.S. military has been sent to Baghdad:
Between 50 and 100 U.S. Marines and U.S. Army personnel have arrived at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, a U.S. official told CNN on Sunday.
A U.S official acknowledged to CNN that the additional embassy security personnel being added include U.S. Marines who specialize in embassy protection during high-threat conditions.
This after having many of the staff evacuated earlier today. Obama is being “updated:”

I am wondering if Obama and Kerry allowed the extra soldiers to bring any weapons with them. My guess is not.

Don't be silly. It takes CNN three minutes or so to report a story. That's way too much time to take out of Obama's busy recreation schedule. If anything, he'll do a quick glance at the HLN channel (Headline News).

The embassy has thousands of people. The plan was to evacuate most of them this week. IE - Takes a week to evac.

I hope there will be sufficient American military presence at the Baghdad embassy to fend off any attack. And by this I don’t mean a token force that will have to fight to the death to defend the embassy before being overwhelmed.
