DAMMIT South Carolina, CLOSE YOUR PRIMARIES!
Do you have a source for that?
"In his concession speech to supporters Tuesday night, Mr. Cantor, who has served seven terms, didn't indicate whether he would run in November as a write-in candidate, as allowed under state law."
Obviously I read it too quickly. It was from a WSJ article from this morning. Apologies.
When the GOPe guy wins, we are expected to rally behind him. However, when the conservative or non-establishment guy wins, the GOPe does not accept the result and either gives lukewarm support to the nominee (and little money) or does a Murkowski and goes rogue. Either way, it is destructive.
But they don’t agree with each other often .and just who are these guardian angels who will “organize” them????? TP people HATE being organized by those in authority, that’s why they’re TP people in the first place!!!
You have a nice theory - just happens to clash with human nature.
He did fail with regard to fund raising. That’s the only valid point you’ve made all morning. You remain, shall we say, “outside of the right information” with most of your opinions.
There was no bungling. Sometimes bad things happen to good people. And there is absolutely nothing easier and more gutless than monday am quarterbacks. HUT HUT .
People need to stop watching Fox ..Megyn Silly and Bret Bore were all over that write in thing, which was NEVER EVER gonna happen.
You sound like the guy’s campaign manager or something.
Kudos to Brat for hammering the workforce participation something Mitt could never muster the courage to do.
.or something, yes .
The problem isn’t with Graham’s warchest or open primaries or weak opponents. The problem is with low-information Republicans who pulled the lever for a creep like Graham despite his record. They are going to be the death of this country.
... tis a shame that Lee didn’t expand your role, eh? I presume in hindsight now he wished he would have ...
Good stuff. Thanks for posting. The time-consuming but essential GOTV activities can never be underestimated.
That might explain it. Sad to see, though. That homo needs to go.
Kabar thanks for that great post giving a lot of information those of us outside VA didn’t know.
("I'm at a different stage of my life than he is," Graham said when I asked him about Cochran, adding, "I've been planning for a hard contest for two years.") He raised $13 million and seeded a formidable campaign operation, with more than 5,000 precinct captains and six field offices around the state. Through a combination of intimidation and enticementas when he helped a conservative congressman, Mick Mulvaney, get a seat on the House Financial Services Committeehe kept the most prominent potential opponents out of the race. His six challengers include a state senator and five first-time candidates; combined, they have raised about $2 million.
That's how he won though I think his margin was a little underwhelming considering two years of prep.
A guy by the name of Jeremy Ryan who hopefully will beat the Veteran hater.
Yes... we are thinking on the same lines.
The question is what mechanism, what method, can be devised and then implemented to economically winnow the conservative candidates to one strong conservative challenger.
The very fact the process is developed will mean the candidates will need money and may weed out the weak that are unable to come up with money support
How big is Ingraham’s audience in Cantor’s district?
I assume she has a bigger share of the market than in Boehner’s district.
