Yes, he was sick and dying, right?
Oh, wait, he wasn't.
Oh, the Taliban were going to kill him?
Oh, wait, they had him for five years and knit him a sweet little shawl to take home.

This administration is testing us by seeing just how much they can do and how much they can lie, while we sit quietly, fearing the dreaded “racist” claims that would come from an attempt to impeach this POSPOTUS.
They’re probably amazed at how much they’ve gotten away with.

From Time Magazine, three days ago:
“The difference with Bergdahl, as Obama argues, is that he wasnt really a hostage grabbed by terrorists. He pretty neatly fit the classic definition of a prisoner of war.”
So they aren’t terrorists...ok.
Just your average run of the mill guardian of a prisoner who allegedly threatened to murder him.
They can’t have it both ways.
To trade a prisoner, based on blackmail, actually makes the story even worse.

Inside the White Houses Decision to Free Bergdahl
Reuters ^ | Wednesday, June 4, 2014 | Steve Holland and Warren Strobel
While they were prepared for some political blowback, Obama administration officials said they felt the outcry would have been fiercer if in six months time, as the United States wraps up its mission in Afghanistan, it emerged that Obama had missed an opportunity to secure Bergdahls freedom.

They are floating this trial balloon to see if anyone believes that they just HAD to release 5 terrorists to get back one traitor. The Taliban had him for 5 years, they weren’t going to kill the only card they had.

Yeah, and that guy that bombed the Pan Am flight was dying of cancer “any day now.” If I recall he’s still alive living the high life after they released him?
To: Responsibility2nd
So how many lives are not at stack by releasing these terrorists? How many soldiers did we loose that tried to find him?

Does anybody remember the old SNL skit about a bumbling Ronald Reagan holding various photo-ops in the Oval Office, and when the people leave he becomes super-war-planning president until another photo-op, when he goes back to being the bumbling president?
Is that what we're supposed to think that Obama was doing, being the super negotiator and protector of troops by day, party-going president at night?
