President Obama announced Friday that White House Press Secretary Jay Carney is leaving the Obama administration.
The President crashed the White House briefing to make the announcement.
He praised Carney for his "good heart" and "temperament" as he dealt with the media.
"I'm going to miss him a lot," Obama added about Carney, 49, who took over as the President's chief spokesman in January 2011.

A liberal friend of mine called me a person full of “hatred” and “anger” simply because I stated on a Facebook status line that Jay Carney had resigned probably because he was tired of lying for his boss.
Liberals are going nuts over this.
Hmmm...Carney and Shinseki resigning announced on the same day...a Friday.
That’s about all that’s being discussed.
So...I am wondering what they are releasing behind the scenes that they do not want talked about?

Looks like just about every market large enough for a local network affiliate had a variation on that theme. Elvira was the pinnacle of it, and she went national.
Maybe “Me TV” on broadcast can pick up the concept and revive it, since they’re entirely nostalgia, old comedies, detective series, etc.
I think I’d enjoy it, cost can’t be too much. Maybe audience participation, put it on in a local restored movie palace, they’re always looking for events that would be well attended.

That generally depend on how direct the Journalists and reporters are at any given moment....most have to stay on topic or they won’t be allowed at these meetings...so mostly they remain Soft when asking questions.....there first has to be a public roll on some issue, over a period of time, before they dare to ask the hard questions.

Yes, and we knew Jay was leaving weeks ago. But we have to remember that Obama said we don’t care about such things, so he rolls things out in his good time and the media and masses follow from there...all for human consumption after the fact.
BTW Wiki sometimes does reveal what’s coming, unfortunately they can also be very wrong too often.
