The brilliance of the crowd who contend that it’s better for Democrats to win than suffer someone not 100% ideologically pure is a thing to behold. That’s a rational pathway to political oblivion. Go, sir, go; all of your friends will be there and you can have a helluva pity party.
If McConnell were to win again, have his leadership roll challenged. At least do that.
So rather than vote for a progressive socialist with a ‘D’ by their name, you would have conservatives vote for a progressive socialist with a ‘R’ by their name?

Her son is married to Chelsea.

The Chamber of Commerce types came out and said that they would support Hillary if a conservative like Cruz got the nomination.

I’ll never vote for a Democrat, but that’s just me. The problem that I have with Conservatives is that they are willing to vote for proven losers and thereby concede political power to Democrats. The way to change Republican leadership is not by electing Democrats, its done by electing Conservatives who will vote for new leadership. Political power comes from winning elections. The notion that you can achieve it by losing elections is ridiculous on its face.
The speaker of the house is trying to push amnesty. McConnell has publicly declared war on conservatism and his groups have spent millions this cycle to stamp out conservatism.
A Chamber of Commerce group publicly said they would support Hillary if a conservative like Cruz gets the nomination.
Those are the guys that sound like dem plants and boorish narcissists.

Ah, that tired old argument. An argument that I heard Scott use just last week: “hey, vote for me, I’m less of a democrat than the other guy!”
Scott was never with us “70%” of the time. That is a myth. Here are his conservative ratings. They got worse the longer he was in office.
Brown - 2010 - 64% (Average) - 62% (CFG) - 74% (ACU) - 57% (FreedomWorks)
Brown - 2011 - 48% (Average) - 49% (CFG) - 50% (ACU) - 44% (FreedomWorks)

Ever since Borat tricked Barr into eating a “Kazakh cheese” that he claimed was made of breast milk, Barr has been wary of milk products, even quiet ones; I can only imagine his fear of milk that is louder than normal. Go Loudermilk!
BTW, with Karen Handel, Donna Sheldon and Tricia Pridemore each finishing third in the GOP primaries for Senate, GA-10 and GA-11, respectively, this will be yet another cycle in which no female Republican is elected to Congress from GA. GA never has had a female Republican in its congressional delegation, making it the largest state of the union fir which that is the case.
Do you advocate voting for McConnell Democrat opponent in November? That strikes me as a vote for Harry Reid as majority leader.
A better result would be new Republican Senators voting for someone other than McConnell as Majority Leader, but many on this forum don’t seem to want that.
Not enough GOP Senators would vote against McConnell. If there was any serious attempt to do so, he would retaliate by removing them from key committee spots. I’ll bet they couldn’t get 10 votes to toss his ass.
We couldn’t get someone like Cruz or Lee in, as they are despised by the party establishment. You’d only be able to replace McConnell with another solon, and nearly all of them are a part of the problem.
The Chamber of Commerce loves pork.

As first said, you can vote for the progressive socialist with a ‘R’ by their name or the progressive socialist with a ‘D’ by their name or you can do like many conservatives and vote for neither. No matter what you do you lose. And that’s by design. Therefore, anything you say, any comment you make, any action you take, your move is already known and you are put in the losing column, again all by design.
