Why is Cantor Consultant Ray Allen So Confident of Victory?

Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg's pro-amnesty organization FWD.us bought deceptive advertisements to help Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-NC) defeat underfunded primary challenger Frank Roche in Tuesday's North Carolina primary. The group promptly celebrated Ellmers' win.

FWD.us's Joe Green said that Ellmers' victory "makes clear" that "the time is now for House Republicans to bring" amnesty legislation to the floor. Lobbying groups like FWD.us want high-tech visas that will lower the wages of American workers, even though no evidence suggests there is a shortage of American high-tech workers.

Likely, the success of Rennee Ellmers in North Carolina has emboldened Ray Allen to talk too much. Why? Because likely Zuckerbergs group is pouring money and skills into Cantor's campaign like Zukerberg's group did for Ellmers in North Carolina. Zukerberg is interested in supporting all pro amnesty candidates. David Steinberg of PJmedia will come out with an article on that shortly

Rand Paul's immigration speech
...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.

Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.

Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.

Let's start that conversation by acknowledging we aren't going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.

If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...

This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.

Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.

Rand Paul calls on conservatives to embrace immigration reform
Latinos, should be a natural constituency for the party, Paul argued, but "Republicans have pushed them away with harsh rhetoric over immigration." ...he would create a bipartisan panel to determine how many visas should be granted for workers already in the United States and those who might follow... [and the buried lead] "Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers...

I wonder how the good liberal computer science majors subsisting off all that Zuckerberg money at Stanford feel about the prospect of competing with alien temps for a job.

Ellmer’s is a fake who rode in on the TEA wave. She’s a sell-out. They’re (Amnesty-RINO’s) ALL sell-outs.

I think the fwd ads hurt Ellmers. She already had the establishment money and was a female incumbent.

It is like the US Chamber officially helping Jack Kingston. I think it hurts him if he has other sources.

my wag is that they don’t actually think that way. they think that stanford puts them above the hoi poli. indeed a stanford degree in computer science is guaranteed good money until age 40 or so. by then, mere programming skills won’t cut it. the programmer has to have some very good programming architecture skills, administrative/leadership skills—the ability to bring a product to market on time and budget—and if they go out on their own — entrepreneurial skills.

I don’t know anything about the ellmers campaign except that she won and that Zukerbergs organization bragged that their money and know how was behind her win.

So you could be right. I just don’t know enough about it. But even if you are right Zukerberg’s group are encouraged to believe that their money is decisive so they will put it into more pro amnesty candidates like Cantor.

Likely Soros has provided money for Cantor as well.

Cantor already has millions. The US Chamber and fwd just give ammo to say that he is only in it for donors.

The same with the chemistry council. It just gives them ammo to bash cantor as supporting obamacare for big pharma.

Oh how I know that, but... My daughter goes there so I know a fair number of students, including some SC majors. They're happy-go-lucky-inside-the-bubble confident all right, but underneath, they're sweating.
