I’m having trouble understanding what I just read. Sam had options other than the one he took. He is busy “gaming” the process now so that the owners have to fear the backlash that would result if he were to be cut.
I predict Sam gets hurt his first play in the NFL, and never plays again.

I’m sure the Rams were doing the league a favor by drafting him.... it would have been a PR nightmare if he’d gone undrafted.
Having said that, there is not much chance of him making this team. He lacks the athletic skill to play special teams, so he’ll have to beat out one of the Rams two backup D-Ends, William Hayes and Eugene Sims.... both of whom are very productive players.
There is probably a team that can use his pass rush ability, it’s just not the Rams.
I’ll be glad when the novelty wears off and we can get back to football. Jeff Fisher has told the media to do their thing now because once mini camp starts Michael Sam won’t be available.

The first thing out of Sam’s mouth after he finished his cake kiss was crying and moaning that he should have been picked in the first rounds. Anyone who thought Sam wasn’t using his gayness for political calculation should have been shut up right then and there. This entire ordeal is a calculation he cooked up to get drafted and nothing more.
