Scandal: On the day after Benghazi, the brother of the White House staffer who wrote the Susan Rice prep email said the government believed it was not just a mob reaction to a video. So who told him that?
When you're Ben Rhodes, an assistant to the president and deputy national security adviser for strategic communications, and you've been tasked to prep U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice on how to deflect blame from the Obama administration for the Benghazi massacre, it's good to have a brother who happens to run a TV network quite willing to push the White House spin.
David Rhodes was the boss of Sharyl Attkisson, the CBS reporter who left the network after it became well nigh impossible to continue the same dogged reporting on Benghazi as she had done on the Fast and Furious administration gun-running operation and get the truth beyond the CBS firewall.
On Monday's "Fox & Friends" program, Attkisson said she believes a concerted effort is under way to divert investigations into the deadly Benghazi attack, an effort that's being orchestrated by people close to the White House. Could she have meant Ben Rhodes and his CBS News president brother David?

BENGHAZIGATE PING
Anybody reading FR that day knew it wasn’t a mob action.
That day.
A month or so later, my local newspaper was still referring to the video.
And so was the President, on live television in a presidential debate.
“...it’s good to have a brother who happens to run a TV network quite willing to push the White House spin.”
And that’s pretty much it in a nutshell.
I think twa 800 was terror...and the Oklahoma bombing...and I think they are done by the same people....but shhhhh...lets not talk about it...it might skerr the stupid ‘merican peoples....
All Rhodes lead to OBAMA.......................
"That is what we saw play out in the last two weeks, as a crude and disgusting video sparked outrage throughout the Muslim world. Now, I have made it clear that the United States government had nothing to do with this video, and I believe its message must be rejected by all who respect our common humanity. It is an insult not only to Muslims, but to America as well -- for as the city outside these walls makes clear, we are a country that has welcomed people of every race and every faith. We are home to Muslims who worship across our country. We not only respect the freedom of religion, we have laws that protect individuals from being harmed because of how they look or what they believe. We understand why people take offense to this video because millions of our citizens are among them."
And never forget that Candy Crowley lied for Obama when Romney called Zero on his lie.
Obama surrendered to Al Qaeda at Benghazi and then went to bed to be fresh for his fundraiser in Las Vegas the next day. Why would he stay up and go to The Situation Room? To surrender again? He’d already surrendered. That’s why we got the Ambassador’s body back from an Al Qaeda run hospital. That’s why those 31 CIA employees were allowed to leave Benghazi. Al Qaeda handed Obama his ass in Benghazi and the big chicken has been trying to hide that.
So why did Romney drop Benghazi as a campaign issue? It would be hard to believe that there wasn’t some complicity by some elements of the Republican party in this whole arms-to-Syrian-terrorists scheme.
Obama was arming terrorists in Benghazi. Nuff said.
330 local time, car line, I was out of the car telling people our embassies were being attacked, the Egypt embassy’s Old Glory was being taken down and our State Department was apologizing to the lybians as they deserved to attack us because we insulted them through some action or another.
If it had been the film, they reacted wrongly. That’s just for starters.
Our embassy was attacked. People were murdered, our diplomats, in country. Our administration apologized, letting everyone in the world, at any embassy, know that it was okay to attack our embassies if they were mad at us for insulting them.
Yes, we knew it.
Where are the men in this country? why are we putting up with this? Are they too busy exercising a woman’s right to choose? or viewing porn?
This thing has been known from day one.
What ever they said on the sunday shows, we apologized for provoking a deserved attack.
He dropped it, Romney did, like it was a hot potato Candy Crowley wanted to eat for a snack during commercial break.
Brother’s keeper PING.
I do note that he defends the government “had nothing to do with this video”. Hillary also made reference that “we had nothing to do with it”. Who the hell was saying the US Government had something to do with the video? Nobody! I know my radar went off when I heard it first and it sure goes off now. Just like a bunch of kids, easy to tell which one broke the lamp - the one that protests too much.
Not that they don't make many of those, but it's the accumulation of them, the one that breaks the elephants back.
No more “journalists” moderating or hosting debates.
How about Jonathan Turley? He's a liberal, but I think fair, with no agenda. Brian Lamb? John Batchelor? Writers authors, other learned non-politically driven people.
Only constitutionally ignorant jackass like Obama could make a speech touting the 1st amendment protections of freedom religion, while in the same speech denouncing the free speech rights to make the video.
Constitutional Law Professor? No, an affirmative action quota student with no identified transcripts, and no discernible knowledge on any subject at all.
Both Barry and Hilly told the parents of the dead people that it was a video. There is no spinning that FACT.
Yup, there is even video on Youtube of both of them saying that to the families and over the families loved one’s coffins. I get disgusted every time I see that.
You’re right, there is no spinning that. That video needs to be entered in to evidence to the Benghazi select committee investigation. That’s probably one thing the demoncrats are afraid of is they cannot spin those lies and really who they directly lied to.
