If a black disagrees with the liberal black elite, they are an “Uncle Tom.”

Black Conservatives need to change the argument around Dr. King:

Blacks who integrate are Uncle Toms. Dr. King was the leader of the integrationists. Was Dr. King therefore an Uncle Tom?

Integration implies Mainstream America becoming open to Blacks but also Blacks joining Mainstream America. Blacks who oppose joining Mainstream America must therefore oppose Dr. Kings dream.

Attack liberals by exploiting their weakness. They are basically stupid people so attacking their stupidity should be easy.

(if we remain of the defense and never go on the offense we will lose every battle.)

Still owns the team but has no say? All he can do now is sell.

If he has enough money, he could let the franchise fold, become completely inoperable and then walk away from it.

I once lived in a country where it was a felony to record someone’s conversation without either their permission or a Title III Court Order, but apparently I no longer live in that country.

Oddly enough, I not only think that he gave his permission to record, he encouraged it.

Is it really excessive?-

A $2.5 million fine would be excessive for a multinational insurance company. This ruling is only the first shot in a contact dispute. Sterling will likely never pay a nickel of the fine. No court will allow the tapes in as evidence of the behavior necessary to trigger the fine.

Silver's actions today are just meant to attempt to diffuse the bad publicity. The NBA is just trying to cover their own butts in order to make it seem that they are doing something.

My guess is that the owners will vote to force Sterling to sell the team, but I don't think they are going to find a buyer. So unless the other owners are willing to pool their money to pony out a Billion dollars to Sterling, he's going to be the owner for the foreseeable future.

This was all Kabuki Theatre today. Just a way to mollify the masses.

I hope whoever is hiding behind the curtain gets so bid up for the team, that he can’t get it.

No...that's not going to fly...If it was, he better say so somewhere on that tape.

I understand she tapes a lot of stuff for him....so a splice might do the trick.

In sympathy, I will voluntarily ban myself for life from all NBA games.

I am sure that I may have had thoughts or words in my past which would have cause my banning anyway.

Never mind that I have never watched any basketball games in my life so far.

What I don’t understand is why it’s not alright for him to say something racist while others are running around shouting their racism all over the place.

I guess I am used to oil company fines. It just didn't look that large from my perspective.

Okay, guys. We were just talking about this at work. Full Disclosure: I’m a black guy.
With that said, I JUST heard these guys tell me the entire contents of the phone call. I’ll just throw it out there. Why would a ‘racist’ even own an NBA team? And lemme get this straight: “You can sleep with black guys, just don’t bring them to the game...” ??

When it comes to racism, I’ve seen a lot worse examples that that.
