Glenn Beck criticized Cliven Bundy’s comments on race on his radio program Thursday, saying the Nevada rancher is “unhinged from reality” and urging his supporters to “end your relationship” with him.
“He’s often wondered if black people would be better of as slaves?” Beck said on his program, after reading from Bundy’s comments on race reported by The New York Times. “End your relationship. End your relationship. If that doesn’t end your relationship with him, you have to go back and question where did you go wrong. You wondered if blacks were better off as slaves picking cotton and having a family life? They didn’t have a family life!”
The radio host and former Fox News contributor had previously urged conservatives not to align too closely with Bundy. Earlier this month, he warned that the standoff between Bundy and the federal government had brought in “violent, anti-government groups.”
Beck in particular zeroed in on Bundy’s comments about “family life” during slavery. “If he really thinks that slaves had a family life, just that shows you how unhinged from reality this guy is,” Beck said. “You’ve got to distance yourself, you must know who you are standing next to at all times.”

Were the "Indians" who dumped the tea into Boston harbor wrong to refuse to pay the legally-imposed tax on that tea?
Were the militia members who refused to allow confiscation of their gunpowder at Lexington and Concord, a confiscation ordered by duly-constituted authority, wrong?
Were the Northerners who refused to return runaway slaves to their owners, in violation of the Fugitive Slave Act, wrong?
They pass a law that says people like you are required to slit your own throat.
Obey the law.
“Not the same!”, you say. But you are wrong. The new BLM regs would have meant the Bundy’s would have gone out of business like so many of their neighbors.
So no... Not all laws are Constitutional nor moral. Pick and choose your battles. For the Bundy’s, this was their “last straw”.
Lefties have every right to rejoice Soros victory over Beck and the truth. Soros fired Beck from FOX, hired him through the greatest of all offers, an offer Beck couldn’t refuse! Beck is attacking conservatives, doing Soros’ bidding and must be rolling in $ and feeling completely safe!
Beck has become a Soros slave who is attacking conservatives. This is not new. A few years ago, just before “leaving” FOX, his unprovoked attacks on the eligibility conservatives were vicious, to say the least.
I posted my objections then and said that his FOX program stopped airing in my house.
I was attacked by a couple of FReepers who will remain nameless. I’m sure they know who they are and may think that I was right then as I’m now. I see that they are silent in several Beck’s threads.
You live and learn.
One more thing, stop and think, how many Becks and Soros sleepers do we have in the GOP leadership, Congress current leaders and candidates running for all kinds of offices?
Paranoid, you say? Not at all. Almost all the people in power are seeing the destruction of our beloved Republic and doing or saying nothing about it. When We the Bundys try to defend ourselves, our property and our families attempt to to take a stand, the long Becks come out...you know the drill!

Glenn Beck is a huge fan of George Washington.
Beck even wrote a book about “Being George Washington.”

My uncle was a very difficult man and hated a lot of people. But he had a Mormon neighbor boy pick bales and do other farm work for him. Lots of teenagers did that sort of thing for summer jobs. My aunt and uncle adored that kid and were so pleased to be invited to his wedding.

It’s been a long time since I’ve heard Beck use the phrase “Spooky Dude”.

Beck was out there trying to be the guy standing before the Bundy supporters, telling them that what they were doing is not the way to do it.
Beck is attempting to ‘look’ FDR’ish with his different glasses, and now he is trying to say one thing, and do another.

You're correct, his mistake was not conforming to political correction by using the phrase, "picking cotton" and the word "negro". He probably still calls a queer a queer too.
By the way, I and plenty of other white people picked cotton as youths, go ahead, call me a cotton picker, I won't be offended, call me a cracker or red neck if you want to.
Keeping an eye on the enemy, I recently heard an MSNBC idiot say that the "militiamen were pointing automatic weapons at B.L.M.". I daresay that the only ones with auto weapons were B.L.M. goons.
I tuned into Hannity today hoping he would talk about this and he’s pretty much in agreement with Beck. It will be interesting to hear what Levin has to say.
Media people are idiots concerning guns. If it’s a scary looking `black rifle’ with a detachable magazine, then it’s a machine gun.
If there actually had been an automatic weapon in militia hands (BATFE registered or not), the Feds would have gone totally postal.

Aren’t the weasels clever, though? They give nice, safe sounding names to who they are and what they do, and it’s how they lull Americans into non action.
They call it the Justice Department, when, in reality, we have a legal system, not a justice system. The BLM is actually Claim Jumpers Anonymous. I’m sure someone with a better imagination than me can come up with more accurate labels, but you can see what I mean.
Americans seem to be in a trance, waiting for the starting bell to go off, but the takers are more clever than that. One day soon, we’ll all wake up and find the hammer and sickle flying over government buildings, and everyone will wonder how it all happened so fast. That’s why what is happening to Clive is so important. His personal opinions are his to have, whatever they might be, and are irrelevant and meaningless in relation to what they’re doing to him and his family.
