Eros and Estrogen on the Front Line (no successful military in history has put women in combat)
Canada Free Press ^ | April 22, 2014 | Michael R. Shannon

Instead woman already in the military ... will find themselves assigned to combat arms to meet a quota designed by a wide–load Member of Congress whose most strenuous activity is the Pilates class she makes once a month.

Still, they won’t be seeing the elephant overnight. Right now only a handful of the 203,000 women currently in the military can pass the physical for combat infantry or Marines. When faced with the reality that women can’t pass the test, Congress and Pentagon paper–pushers will change the test until they can pass.

Unfortunately, when you lower standards by definition you get substandard material. This is not to say women as a group are substandard.

The Marine Corps, which I was counting on to maintain standards, is showing signs of going wobbly. CNS News reports the Corps has delayed a requirement that female Marines do a minimum of three pull–ups. The postponement came after 55 percent of females in boot camp couldn’t meet the standard. By comparison, only 1 percent of the males failed.

This test is important for the future of our military’s combat effectiveness because upper body strength is vital both in combat and on the front line where soldiers carry ammunition, lift the wounded, manhandle sandbags and tote weapons.

I suppose we could allow women to push a shopping cart into combat or issue ‘spinner’ luggage. But that won’t work either because after she fills the bag with shoes there won’t be any room for equipment.

The deadline for degrading the combat arm is 2016 and as the date approaches, and the lack of qualified women becomes obvious enough for even a Democrat to see, that’s when the pressure to change the test will be the most severe.

I don’t think it is possible to be a born again Christian and be with a homosexual partner.

Being with the homosex partner says you are ok with being homosex and do not recognize it as sin.

We are to repent of and struggle with sin.

We are not to explain away God’s instruction that homosexuality is extremely dangerous for individual and culture.

Wait until the shoot starts, for real, next time. It might be China, it might be Syria, it might be North Korea.

When hot lead is flying, and pink bodies being blown apart, we will see massive refusals, deployment "pregnancies", and 1,001 other reasons why women are not marching to the front lines.

War is not a joke. It is the ultimate human endeavor of terror, crisis, and focus of your entire mind and body.

If history is a guide, we shall soon see a horrific war looming on the human horizon very shortly.

I worked with a guy that was openly gay and talked about his "partner" all the time. This guy was also a born-again Christian.

Is it possible to be a gay Christian?

Most of the females I ever encountered in the military were never able to easily pass their PT test even at their standards. There were a few notable exceptions who were excellent runners. I underscore the word few. It was very few. Even then they were lean and with little upper body strength.

Women never seemed to have problems with sit ups.

Who do you want throwing a grenade? You or some 5’2” girl? Maybe she played softball. She probably didn’t.

I think women should be given combat roles when men give birth to children.

And what do we call a man that can give birth to a child? A woman. :-D

Add to your list, Nadezhda Durova, "Female Tars: Women Aboard Ship in the Age of Sail", and my personal favorite, the Night Witches! 18 bombing sorties in a single night! "Members of the 588th Night Bomber Regiment decorated their planes with flowers ... and dropped 23,000 tons of bombs", need I say more? You don't want to mess with the Night Witches!

No matter how hard you train, you can never meet the realities of combat.

What you do know is that you can carry her off the battlefield if she’s wounded, but she can’t carry you.

Israel is in a unique position. They are surrounded by millions of muslims who want to kill them off and take their land. If we were in such a situation, hell yeah, arm women and old men.

Also, no one can name another country that will send women into front line action. See any Russian women in Ukraine?

My big beef with all this is that is bad enough that young men have to endure the horrors of the battlefield, but then have to live with it for the rest of their lives. Why subject women to all that?

Nevertheless, scripturally, these are not preconditions for being saved. Jesus said,[H]im that comes to me I will in no wise cast out (John 6:37). He who is rejected and judged by man is not disqualified by Jesus. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Rom 10:13). Getting saved is the easiest thing in the world to do becasue Jesus did all the heavy lifting, paid the full price for the sins of the whole world, and bore the full judgement of God upon every sin that ever has and will be committed.

Jesus told the woman caught in adultery, "Neither do I condemn you." The gift of no condemnation made her able to do the next thing that Jesus said, "sin no more." Condemnation and the law are actually "the strength of sin" (1 Cor 15:54). The law is a schoolmaster to teach us we can't keep it (Gal 3:24). In fact, the law was given to cause us to sin to show us how miserable we are without Christ, "that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful" (Romans 7:13).

But the gospel of the grace of God says, "For sin shall no longer have dominion over you for you are not under the law but under grace" (Rom 6:14). It is the grace of God, not our self-efforts, that delivers us from sin. God can love us and the sodomite unconditionally without any condemnation in all holiness and righteousness because He has already poured out his full and complete condemnation and wrath for everyone's sins on the body of His beloved Son Jesus Christ in His prefect sacrifice on the cross.

God's grace is surprising now and in the future and a lot of Christians will be surprised who they meet in Heaven (Eph 2:7-8).

The number on the hand grenade used to be that 45% of women couldn’t throw one far enough to place themselves out of the kill zone, and of course that means that almost none of the females could throw them with confidence and accuracy.

I would rather the females just stay away from them.
