Eros and Estrogen on the Front Line (no successful military in history has put women in combat)
Canada Free Press ^ | April 22, 2014 | Michael R. Shannon

Instead woman already in the military ... will find themselves assigned to combat arms to meet a quota designed by a wide–load Member of Congress whose most strenuous activity is the Pilates class she makes once a month.

Still, they won’t be seeing the elephant overnight. Right now only a handful of the 203,000 women currently in the military can pass the physical for combat infantry or Marines. When faced with the reality that women can’t pass the test, Congress and Pentagon paper–pushers will change the test until they can pass.

Unfortunately, when you lower standards by definition you get substandard material. This is not to say women as a group are substandard.

The Marine Corps, which I was counting on to maintain standards, is showing signs of going wobbly. CNS News reports the Corps has delayed a requirement that female Marines do a minimum of three pull–ups. The postponement came after 55 percent of females in boot camp couldn’t meet the standard. By comparison, only 1 percent of the males failed.

This test is important for the future of our military’s combat effectiveness because upper body strength is vital both in combat and on the front line where soldiers carry ammunition, lift the wounded, manhandle sandbags and tote weapons.

I suppose we could allow women to push a shopping cart into combat or issue ‘spinner’ luggage. But that won’t work either because after she fills the bag with shoes there won’t be any room for equipment.

The deadline for degrading the combat arm is 2016 and as the date approaches, and the lack of qualified women becomes obvious enough for even a Democrat to see, that’s when the pressure to change the test will be the most severe.

Leftist social engineers never account for reality in their planning. The enemies we are most likely to face don’t have women in combat slots and they aren’t making the barracks safe for lavender. The fact that no successful military in history has put women in combat has escaped Pentagon HR planners completely. Brunhilde, and Ripley for that matter, were only a myth.

When conflict occurs armies aren’t matched according to brackets or seeds. If that were the case we could volunteer to fight the Isle of Lesbos and leave it at that. The obvious solution for sexual assault in the military is fewer females in close proximity to males or at least a more accurate survey, but with this administration neither is likely to happen.

I think I don’t like women in combat and for a lot of reasons. But doesn’t the Israeli Army have women in combat?

I don’t know.

No. Like the US, they have women assigned to appropriate jobs.

We women are best utilized as behind the lines logistics helpers and for a “Home Guard” should we get pushed back all the way to our soverign soil.

A woman protecting her children / home is a fearsome sight indeed....

But never on the front lines as a tool of overt agression, males are better at that.

No their women do support roles but could be in a forward area. They are trained to fire weapons.

It makes no sense for civilization to put potential mothers into death dealing combat.

I think women should be given combat roles when men give birth to children.

More people are going to get killed. But what do the civilian politicians care? It’s more important to surrender to the feminists.

Maybe DoD should try testosterone therapy. You know, a shot each week. That should give them the aggression necessary to execute three pull ups. Ummm, maybe not. That could get very dangerous on a large scale. /s/

From Debunking the Israeli 'women in combat' myth:

It is a common misperception that Israel allows women in combat units. In fact, women have been barred from combat in Israel since 1950, when a review of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War showed how harmful their presence could be. The study revealed that men tried to protect and assist women rather than continue their attack. As a result, they not only put their own lives in greater danger, but also jeopardized the survival of the entire unit. The study further revealed that unit morale was damaged when men saw women killed and maimed on the battlefield.

I believe the IDF is again placing women in combat positions but I don't have a reliable reference for that.

The obvious solution for sexual assault in the military is fewer females in close proximity to males

With the majority of sexual assaults in the military being homos against humans, the obvious solution is to first remove homos from the military.

There are many jobs in the military that women have performed successfully. It makes no sense to change standards just to put women where they otherwise would not qualify.

Joan of Arc?
Amazon Warrior Women?
The Wild Women of Borneo?

I wouldn’t mess with ANY of them. ;)

Today’s women are bully’s of weak men. Where are the Viking women of old. Put them all on the front line!

Women should not be assigned to combat slots. Period.

But I fully believe the Obama administration and top ranking military officers will lower standards until women will be assigned combat slots.

The Soviet Army put women in combat.

Ask the people of the former East Germany if the Red Army had a successful campaign.

I wonder what history tells us about fags in the military.

(Is "fag" not politically correct? Oh well. You'd think I hate them but I don't. I have friends that are "gay". But I HATE the fag agenda.)

Funny and possibly surprising story: I worked with a guy that was openly gay and talked about his "partner" all the time. This guy was also a born-again Christian. (Yup, God's grace is amazing. He doesn't deny anyone who comes to Him and He starts from the inside out, regardless of what man thinks.) He was a pretty nice guy and people generally liked him. Anyway, one day, for some reason, he got up out of his cubicle, stood up, looked down the hall, and declared loudly, "I'm a faggot." It was actually pretty funny. Again, Jesus and I don't hate the people. I mean, I know they're screwed up but we all need help one way or the other. What I hate is calling deviant behavior normal and a sick lifestyle healthy. And I certainly hate the political/legal/social agenda.

I found this in the IDF wbsite:

In 2006, the Combat Intelligence Corps’ Nachshol Reconnaissance Company became the IDF’s – and the world’s – first company consisting entirely of female combat soldiers.
