I don’t think it is possible to be a born again Christian and be with a homosexual partner.

Being with the homosex partner says you are ok with being homosex and do not recognize it as sin.

We are to repent of and struggle with sin.

We are not to explain away God’s instruction that homosexuality is extremely dangerous for individual and culture.

Nevertheless, scripturally, these are not preconditions for being saved. Jesus said,[H]im that comes to me I will in no wise cast out (John 6:37). He who is rejected and judged by man is not disqualified by Jesus. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Rom 10:13). Getting saved is the easiest thing in the world to do becasue Jesus did all the heavy lifting, paid the full price for the sins of the whole world, and bore the full judgement of God upon every sin that ever has and will be committed.

Jesus told the woman caught in adultery, "Neither do I condemn you." The gift of no condemnation made her able to do the next thing that Jesus said, "sin no more." Condemnation and the law are actually "the strength of sin" (1 Cor 15:54). The law is a schoolmaster to teach us we can't keep it (Gal 3:24). In fact, the law was given to cause us to sin to show us how miserable we are without Christ, "that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful" (Romans 7:13).

But the gospel of the grace of God says, "For sin shall no longer have dominion over you for you are not under the law but under grace" (Rom 6:14). It is the grace of God, not our self-efforts, that delivers us from sin. God can love us and the sodomite unconditionally without any condemnation in all holiness and righteousness because He has already poured out his full and complete condemnation and wrath for everyone's sins on the body of His beloved Son Jesus Christ in His prefect sacrifice on the cross.

God's grace is surprising now and in the future and a lot of Christians will be surprised who they meet in Heaven (Eph 2:7-8).
