The Obama administration once again has punted on a final decision for the Keystone XL pipeline, announcing ahead of the holiday weekend that it is extending a key review period indefinitely -- a move that could push off a determination until after the midterm elections.
Republicans, as well as red-state Democrats who want the pipeline approved, slammed the administration for the delay.
"It's absolutely ridiculous that this well over five year long process is continuing for an undetermined amount of time," Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, D-N.H., said in a statement.

No,it’s a good thing.Plus it shows others how undependable he is.
The only pivot Obama ever makes is left, further left and further than further left.
I find it ridiculous that Heitkamp tows the Democrat Party line in support of Obama each time she casts a vote.
I think we should go build the damned thing with militias— this has got to stop. The POS is ANTI _ AMERICAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Think of all the stealthy off-shore cash and other assets that Opansy-Obama ail get from all of the Muslim oil-producing countries when he leaves office ...
Shovel ready./S
Utopian Fascists.
Damn them to hell.
This Obama , coercive Utopian non decision is the death nell for Mary and a dozen other Dufus dems in the Senate.
This is a leg up for the GOP to take a majority in the Senate .....but the GOP is still yet unprepared for the thuggery of the Obama Campaigns electoral machine and its computer based, social network “get out the vote” poll fraud.
Once we’ve removed the Democrats from Senate control and strengthened the House we can strip this power from the Executive branch.
The Devil never protects his own, why should Obama?
Besides, this is a great present to Warren Buffett!
The pipeline business here in NEPA is astounding and exciting..But Gnu Yak is scared of its shadow and won’t harvest the trillions of dollars under the Southern Tier, so we continue to watch over the demise of Binghamton and Elmira...when they could both be gold mines...
As long as they continue to offer Obamaphone, Obamahome, Obamaloan, Obamacare, WIC, SNAP, WELFARE, EIC’s and TAX Credits to the poor, promises of taking from those that workhard and giving to those that hardly work, cutting the benefits to those that have guarded this nation by standing watch on the front lines of freedom and giving benefits and elevated status to those that enter this country illegally in violation of the law, and as long as a womens right to choose to abort children and force taxpayers to subsidize their lifestyle choices trumps a persons belief that God holds every life from the moment of its conception to the moment that its soul returns home to him as sacred, well as you can see the list is long and I fear this once great nation has fallen too far. I hope I am wrong and the mistakes that have been made are corrected but we will find out in November.
Well well, looks like ole WV and RI& Dl are the only three states without a pipeline. Of course I know why there is no pipeline in WV. You would never get it over or under all these hills.
Okay, so there are no “major” pipe lines in WV. Ha
The natural gas pipeline and local distribution companies serving the Northeast have access to supplies from several major domestic natural gas producing areas and from Canada. Domestic natural gas flows into the region from the Southeast into Virginia and West Virginia, and from the Midwest into West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Canadian imports come into the region principally through New York, Maine, and New Hampshire.
Liquefied natural gas (LNG) supplies also enter the region through import terminals located in Massachusetts, Maryland, and New Brunswick, Canada.

It is a pipeline that means US and Canadian jobs, lower, more accessible energy, increased employment and related government tax revenue on both sides of the border, money that could pay down debt. Why would Barry want that? After all, after the last election, he has more ‘flexibility’!
