Food inflation? Can’t be... since the arrogant ignoramus ascended to power, food isn’t part of the inflation calculation, so that’s just crazy talk.
I know some prices have risen, but I hate to see the language bastardized by the use of hyperbolic words such as “soar.” When prices really do “soar” you won’t need a journalist to tell you about it.
So those charts in the article don’t show prices soaring?
You don’t think hamburger meat at $5/lb. is “soaring”? Millions of shoppers think so.
Clearly the Regime led crowd chants that there is no inflation are not having the desired effect. Perhaps future articles and actions should be governed by the practices of North Korea until the people see the shining wisdom of Dear Leader.

Use the interactive chart on the top to look at 1 year prices of commodities futures. For food items, they run from March to August. This matters, because the closer they are to the end date, the more accurate they are.
All the gardens around here seem bigger than normal. Ours is about a quarter acre.

Green Peppers: 2.49/Lb
Ground Beef (80% Lean): $4.89/lb
Chicken Thighs (Cheapest Cut): 2.29/Lb
Butter: $4.29/Lb
These are just a few select items from my grocery shopping this weekend. These prices are at least double and in some cases near triple what these items cost just 5 years ago.
Granted, this is Commie-cago but still... Time to wakey wakey!
Prices have "SOARED" and the American people are already well aware. How can we miss it? But that doesn't stop the Govt. from not including energy, fuel and food prices in their inflation calculations at a time when literal "war" has been declared on the energy industry. This of course, drives up food prices but hey! What, me worry?
For all the complaining about food prices, it’s always done with a full mouth.
Never before in the history of the world have so many people been fed for so little money.
