Vlad isn’t Hitler, but he’s Putin: and that is bad enough.

Was that the one she gave away free bears to everyone in the audience to anyone willing to ride one shirtless screaming Vlad iZ a dOo DoO HAadZ?

Is Barack Al-Obama another Neville Chamberlin?
To: windsorknot
He’s a grade A prick. But never forget that the media that used all the Christ imagery to deify the sainted Won, needs to also create a Satan for him to oppose.

Chamberlain, despite the fact he was gullible, was a man, I think, of character.

That is TRUE. While Neville was WEAK, he was neither corrupt, nor anti-American, nor anti-Christian.

I wish people worried as much about what Obama is doing as what Putin is doing.
BINGO!

BUT: Vladimir Putin has more self-discipline and patience than Adolf Hitler, and thus he constitutes a greater THREAT. Not to mention he has the world’s LARGEST arsenal of NUKES!
To: 2harddrive
Much better contrast than the one I attempted.

It depends on whether you believe that Hitler was rational or not. I guess "rational" means limited in his goals.
If you're A.J.P. Taylor and believe Hitler was "rational" in that sense, then Putin may well be another Hitler -- just as Hitler was another Bismarck.
The rest of us, and the rest of the world, will probably disagree with you.
That doesn't mean Putin is wonderful, but he probably doesn't want to take over Britain and France and achieve world dominance anytime soon.

He is not another Hitler. Hitler didn’t want to unite Germany to get rich while Putin is just a simple criminal.
