The media's version of the end of the Bundy Ranch siege is that the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) simply "left" the ranch and "returned" the cattle out of the goodness of their hearts. CBS News even outrageously reported that the BLM "released the cattle to help restore order and avoid violence"! This despite widely-seen video of BLM thugs tasing Bundy's son and shoving a pregnant woman to the ground. And the protesters never threatened violence in any way during the nearly one-week siege.
The real story was that the BLM refused to give back the cattle, and would not leave the property or disarm, to which they had agreed. The result was an epic standoff that reporter David Knight described as being like “something out of a movie.”

The Bundy Ranch stopped tweeting and they are not emailing their supporter email list. People are wondering about the bikers from the Midwest. There’s no news on them. There are unconfirmed reports that DHS is arriving at the ranch.
They got Elian at 5AM in the morning, and I suspect that’s when they’ll make their move.
If I were the Bundy’s and supporters I would have a crowd camping on their land in shifts for a long time. with cameras and satellite internet feeds.

I didn’t look up the NOTAM but a 3 mile radius atound a spot in the Nevada desert is BS on its face. The ranch is something over 600,000 acres-—that’s upwards of 100 townships which, if rectangular, would be around 40 miles square. The ranch is 80+ miles from Vegas with little in between. That would have been a really expensive day trip for a news bird. Spooking the cows more would have been the result of more aircraft and BLM already did enough of that. If you want to get shot out of the sky “soonest” go ahead and fly your eggbeater over a cowboy’s herd. It seems that card had been played and the humor in it was gone.
