LAS VEGAS -- A deal has been reached between Bundy family leaders and the BLM, but not without some very tense moments.
Armed Bundy family leaders met with BLM officers Saturday afternoon in Mesquite to discuss the fate of the Bundy's cattle that the feds removed from BLM land, over the past week. The cattle are being held at a holding area in Mesquite.
Prior to the meeting, hundreds of protesters, some armed, tried storming the BLM's cattle gate, but weren't successful. The crowd was urged to wait 30 minutes and give both sides a chance to talk. An agreement was reached that the cattle will be released to the Bundy family later Saturday.
At one point, I-15 was closed in both directions, about seven miles south of Mesquite, because protesters had blocked the freeway. Nearly two dozen police officers and a SWAT unit were at the scene to keep the peace and assist the BLM enforcement officers to safely leave the area.
Protesters have been gathering all week in support of rancher Cliven Bundy, who has been locked in a legal battle for the past 20 years over grazing rights with the federal government

Sorry, the word he wanted was “serf”, not surf, not cerf.
As soon as the crowds of supporters are disbursed the Feds will stuff Bundy through the meat grinder.
They will make him pay dearly for thinking he has any rights.
Harry Reid wants that land vacated for his pals to take over and the Feds will get it for him one way or the other.
Cattle rustling is okay if you give them back afterwards?
Looks like this just deals with the cows already taken by the BLM. It doesn’t appear to address the larger concerns.
More to follow, it seems.
This retreat beats the Vichy French. Something tells me that Reid wanted this to go away NOW.
Given that the land is owned by the State of Nevada (my "buddy" Hanity says so), I don't see where the feds have any constitutional control over the land since it evidently wasn't purchased under the Constitution's Clause 17 of Section 8 of Article I, or the eminent domain clause of the 5th Amendment.
So what constitutional clause am I overlooking?
DOH!
Color me embarrassed.
But still laughing. (now at me)
A classic stupid move on my part, and no where to hide!
Reid just had his protege (who he inserted near the top of the BLM 3 years ago) who was very recently installed at the top of the BLM start to cover their tracks.
Or, this would be far better — a Switchblade drone: http://www.wired.com/2011/10/tiny-kamikaze-drone/.
Yep, as long as your intentions were always good.
“the word he wanted was serf, not surf, not cerf.”
The OPs spelling error was most likely a result of spell check.
I, on the other hand, can make no such excuse!
“Sorry, the word he wanted was serf, not surf, not cerf.”
Glad you got that cleared up.

So... If it was to be another massacre, as you expected, and you were within say... 100 miles, would you have at least made an attempt to at least make an appearance with a sign?
Reid is almost on par with his sock puppet master mac daddy with a total loss of credibility.
When you relate to him it reaches a new lower level of corruption that not many people can reach.
Yes, I know. I read the NOTAM.
“... a SWAT unit at the scene to keep the peace ...”

They are so good at that...
All the cattle were just released. I watched on Live feed. 130 dead from being chased in the heat.

The ‘clause’ hand written by the Federal government’s hand picked employees in black robes that let them do whatever they want.
Althou honestly the State of Nevada needs to get involved here and uses the publicity to make a real case against the Federal government’s hording of 85% of Nevada’s land and associated resources.
Far more than any other state:

Nevada’s leaders should at the very least point out the unfair situation Nevada faces as a result, comparing themselves to say New York which enjoys control & access to of 99% of their lands.
What will happen to the infrastructure that was destroyed? ( water lines, water tanks etc.)
You mean without his boyfriend?
