LAS VEGAS -- A deal has been reached between Bundy family leaders and the BLM, but not without some very tense moments.
Armed Bundy family leaders met with BLM officers Saturday afternoon in Mesquite to discuss the fate of the Bundy's cattle that the feds removed from BLM land, over the past week. The cattle are being held at a holding area in Mesquite.
Prior to the meeting, hundreds of protesters, some armed, tried storming the BLM's cattle gate, but weren't successful. The crowd was urged to wait 30 minutes and give both sides a chance to talk. An agreement was reached that the cattle will be released to the Bundy family later Saturday.
At one point, I-15 was closed in both directions, about seven miles south of Mesquite, because protesters had blocked the freeway. Nearly two dozen police officers and a SWAT unit were at the scene to keep the peace and assist the BLM enforcement officers to safely leave the area.

As of the moment of this reply to you, the NOTAM on airspace restriction over the ranch remains in effect until 11 May 2014. The BLM’s forces on the ground may be pulling out, but they still have an airspace restriction over the area.

The fact of the matter is the PEOPLE of this country have ALWAYS been in control.
When the people stand together armed and ready to fight to protect their freedom, the government loses 100% of the time.
This is the case when black mobs run riot in the inner cities because of whatever has pissed them off this time, and it’s the case when militias rush to defend a rancher, and it will always be the case.
It certainly looks like a victory from Bundy. Now, I guess we’ll wait and see whether he’ll continue to graze the restored cattle on the disputed land.
I know there are arguments in all directions as to who “owns” the land—the feds, the state, Bundy, etc. But after a hundred years of grazing cattle there, it seems to me that the Bundy family have a legally established right to continue grazing them.
I truly expected a Waco-like massacre, complete with a cover up and a media blackout. I’m glad I was wrong. This time.

Actually, it was only after HARRY REID’S involvement in this (yet another of many) scandal/corruption was BEGINNING to be exposed that it was called off. This appears to be a TOTAL VICTORY for the people, so the CORRUPTION and conflict of interest MUST BE MASSIVE AND FAR REACHING.
I do hope the House Republicans will not allow this whole latest act of criminality by Harry Reid and cronies to be swept under the rug.
