Another one died that I had not known was still alive. Too bad our media ignores the old stars

As of a second ago, Wikipedia did not have this.

Just went up on Twitter about 10 minutes ago. I waited until a semi-legit website had it.

Andy Rooney died at 92 a few years ago. Something about those longevity genes and the Rooney name.

He acted in 10 straight decades and was the last living major star to be in a silent movie.

I believe he started a school at some point and IIRC, also fought for child actors and actresses who were “robbed”.

I remember him on a TV show, I think it was “Naked City” but I could be wrong. He played a guy called Ooftus Gooftus. He literally had me crying by the end.
A really good actor, make that great actor.

Mickey Rooney, who spent nearly his entire life in the show business, died today. He was 93.93 years and never worked a day in his life. Talk about a dream life.
Just kidding! I'm sure it takes it out of a guy to read the same sentence fifty times to get it right.
Just kidding again!
RIP, Mickey.

Mickey Rooney was born Joe Yule Jr. on September 23, 1920 in Brooklyn, New York. .... His best movies were the ' Andy Hardy' movies......so good.
