The tragic Fort Hood shooting this week reignited the debate over shootings in gun-free zones and whether gun-free zones are generally more prone to this kind of horrible violence. On Cashin’ In Saturday morning, Eric Bolling and Juan Williams tussled over mental health and the gun culture, with Williams saying, “I think we need America to be a gun-free zone.”
Jonathan Hoenig and Wayne Rogers agreed the problem is more about “seriously deranged people” as opposed to guns. Williams said, “I’m amused that you guys are so quick to run away from the easy availability of guns as having some responsibility for all of these tragedies.”
Michelle Fields said law-abiding gun owners shouldn’t be punished for what “a few crazy people did,” and Williams cried, “Who is punishing any gun owners?” Bolling brought up Williams’ comment about making America a gun-free zone, to which Williams said it’s never going to happen as long as the NRA keeps sidelining that conversation.
Fields and Williams battled over Fields’ assertion that Democrats “take advantage of these tragedies.” Williams challenged her to name one action Obama’s taken on guns, and Fields insisted “he would if he could!”

Gun Free Zones is practiced in many locations in USA.
That is where mass shootings occur the most.
Gun laws may be tough, but gun free zones make an easy
target for a deranged gunman.

I have thought of it much. It seemed much more likely 30 years ago, when we seemed on the virge of an all-out thermonuclear war.
Now, it seems quite unlikely in the near future, though certainly not impossible. The question is, how do we get there?

I’d debate you and ask the following questions:
1. If America were a gun free zone, who then would control the balance of power?
2. If Murica were a gun free zone, why wouldn’t anyone invade Murica?
3. If Murica were a gun free zone, where would our best infantrymen and, very importantly, our snipers come from?
4. If Murica were a gun free zone, we couldn’t possibly be the world superpower. How would the world react to that?
5. If Murica were a gun free zone, would you then go on to propose we become a knife free zone? Bow and arrrow free zone? Sword free zone?
How would you cut your meat?
In a gun free Murica, would you and the other intelligenstia then become part of the new cabal?
You seem to be against a good many thing, much of which is protected by the same constitution you cloak yourself in when ever convenient.
