Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 is no closer to being found as the disappearance of the Boeing 777 carrying 239 people nears its two-week mark.
Pilot suicide, terrorism and hijacking are some possibilities that are being theorized to the plane as the search area expanded to 7 million square miles. White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said last week that “there are a number of possible scenarios that are being investigated as to what happened to the flight.”
Rick Mathews, of the National Center for Security & Preparedness at the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy of SUNY Albany, tells CBSDC that there is another theory that should be put into play: the missing flight is being held for ransom by a group of individuals, maybe including people from the flight crew.
“You want to most likely hide the plane so that it will not be seen and get these people away from there. You want a place to prove life, confirm the fact that they are alive without giving away their location,” Mathews told CBSDC, adding that this was an “internal hijacking” that might have been perpetrated by one or more members of the crew.
Mathews feels the hijackers will go public “anytime now” because the weight of the world and governments will be on them.
“If they are ransoming, they want to get away with this,” Mathews explained. “They are not doing this as a suicidal play, they want to make use of this. They want to make sure they have a place for themselves.”
Mathews believes whoever took the plane had an air strip prepared for landing and camouflage as to not be caught by satellites.
“It takes a great deal of coordination to hide a plane,” he said.

After manuevering through the TSA gauntlet of goons, passengers never know what the pilots might then do to them. Freedom of travel by any mode has been eroded via underhanded backdoor methods of making it just plain miserable and troublesome to move around. How about the example made out of that jogger in Austin? Ruffle the wrong feathers while out getting a little exercise and bam, down you go!
I believe the alien theory before I’d believe this. And if it does turn out to be true, the hijackers will soon be meeting the Navy Seals.
Theory i) The two Iranians were actually Quds Brigade goons doing the hijacking.
Theory ii) The two Iranians were wanted by the Iranians' goonocracy, who sent a Quds team to 'jack the airliner and return the twosome to Tehran, to be dragged on their faces, backwards, up the main drag of the city to the Quds Hilton.
Theory iii) The actors were Salafis instead, the Iranian "mystery duo" had nothing to do with it except as victims trying to emigrate to Europe and sanity, and the Salafis have some further use for the a/c (such as lugging a 50-kt device to New York or Paris and detonating it about 4000 feet above the target while orbiting for a normal landing at some mostly-freight airfield, like Teterboro).

If Mr. Zaharie (pilot) was involved in anything. Why now? Why this particular flight and destination? No obvious statements or notes left behind from him either... (As far as we know of.) If the pilot wasn’t suicidal. It would have been a hijacking by someone else. If someone else took control of the plane, the pilot might have been kept alive to fly while the passengers were expendable. Thus the quick up in elevation to depressurize. It is even possible that one of the pilots could have flown it into the ocean after that rather then cooperate further with someone’s demands
You have to wonder about the contact and communication with that plane and Malaysian ground control. With all those poor families awaiting news, it would be infuriating if information was being withheld that may already be known.
There is NO WAY I would want to be flying on one of those airlines. Certainly not after this.
A muslim hijacking (redundant, I know) is always a logical possibility, but to then land it and hide it? Even if the pilot were in on it, that scenario just seems to stretch the luck of allah a bit much.
Bottom of the IO? Mohammed plotted, trained, and stole a plane, but forgot to consider fuel range? That does fit with the low IQ blow-up-real-good morons. We’ll never know the truth. The media has been breathlessly reporting any and all theories and conjecture, so what difference are outright lies put out by say, the White Hut?
Based on some things Ive been reading and hearing lately, they are never going to find it. It will become another of those mysteries of the air, like DB Cooper, like Amelia Earhart, only involving a lot more people.

It is possible a ransom demand has been made and for obvious reasons it is being withheld from the public, thus allowing searchers to keep all their options open — like, they may have to shoot it down.

The governments know what happened. They’ve been trying to buy time. In the meantime Israel and others are on alert.
