Re your post 42, yes, that is true. But look at what some of the Russians did with that alphabet.
The core of Nazism was the Holocaust. Everything Hitler created led up to the slaughter of WWII. It was no accident.

The reference is probably to dogs. In the Bible, dogs are not man's best friend--almost every reference to them is negative.
In modern Israel, the lake in question is usually called Lake Kinneret. It is also known as Lake Tiberias or Lake Gennesaret.
