I didn't even know they had wolfs/coyotes in that part of the world.
Or did you just choose to ignore it?
Are you fluent in Hebrew? I’m impressed. That’s not an easy language to study, especially with that script. I briefly studied the cyrillic script for Russian years ago, before the internet, back when I had a pen pal. Another challenging language (for most people) is Greek. I believe I read the earliest Greek scripts written down show that they didn’t use spaces between the words or even punctuation until much, much later in history.
Totally missed it. First thing that came to mind upon reading it was a memory of an old relative talking about killing a rabid fox.
“The fox never got to her and she killed it with her hoe.”
Good job!
Apt, wouldn't you say?
She's also 70 years old, now.
I’m curious if the “wild dogs” of the bible might have spanned into the wolf family. Though they had different words for dog and wolf.
The New Testament makes a reference to the Sea of Galilee as being called the Sea of Tiberias. According to Wikipedia, Tiberias was an ancient health resort city and the Sea of Galilee, which it borders, gained additional fame through Tiberias.
So Ilsa is the SS version of Barbarella. Didn’t realize women were using silicone for ‘cosmetic enhancement’ back then.
Oops!
Wiki says it is in Comparative Religions.
I got the Compulsive Education from an old story written late in her life.
Still kind of apt, considering her career overall.
Kind of weird having that topic crop up in a discussion about rabid wolves in Israel.
Of course that is X rated. There’s nothing too low for porn.
And here I thought I saw everything there is to see (and plenty I wish I could UNSEE) on the internets.
That video was AMAZING.
Well, yeah, and probably wouldn't have gotten weird if that wolf hadn't of bit that guy's sister.
But if you want weird, look up her web page and see what she does for a living now.
Not X-rated, but should be PG.
She seems to be one of the "alternative" religion missionaries or something.
Why should I entertain myself with the devil’s disciplette or disciplinarian?
Not wild eagles, which is what I thought it would be. Trained eagles. Eagles are pretty fierce birds.
Whatever.
you won’t be saying whatever when God is in your face
Apparently:
“Today she and her husband Howard Maurer (both had roles in five of the same movies) are ordained ministers, who own an alternative wedding business in Las Vegas, Nevada. They conduct scenic outdoor weddings as an alternative to a traditional wedding chapel.”
From Wiki. I always say that anytime I’m learning something that that is time well spent and tonight I learned who Dyanne Thorne was.
I, too, once had a Russian pen pal; thank goodness she wrote in English. I took a lesson in Russian at a local community college but had trouble with that darn alphabet.
Once, flying home from Russia, I struck up a conversation with the American next to me, who told me that he was fluent in a number of languages. He noted that German was easy to pick up (he replied to a nearby passenger who spoke to him in German and I was suitably impressed). He said, though, that Russian was the most difficult language he ever attempted and he wondered if he would ever truly master it.
He further expressed a wonderment that such a primitive backward people could come up with an elegant, complicated and expressive language.
It’s just light-hearted funnin’, HiTech, no reason to get sore about it.
Ilsa PING!
Some things ain’t all that funny. We don’t ban them, but that doesn’t make them look any less stupid.
