Wonder who kept up the mortgage payments or does it take 6 years to foreclose in the Detroit area?

The forensics must be wrong, she voted DemoRat in 2008, 2010, and 2012.

Why foreclose, it probably won’t be sold anyway.

Perhaps the mortgage may have been paid and it was foreclosed for non-payment of taxes. Even banks are quicker and more agile that city government.

I guess her employer thought she just quit? Perhaps they had let her go and she then committed suicide. Shame.

Who the hell kept the electricity going? And isn’t odd that the home goes into foreclosure but nobody checked it out for six years until they send a contractor in? Also lovely neighbors huh? Okay so she would be gone for weeks at a time but six years didn’t seem odd and assumed she moved though no one ever saw a moving van? God save me from neighbors like this.

It certainly does in NJ.
Besides with some of these properties nearly worthless the banks are in no hurry to take active control of them.
Creepy story, I feel bad for the dead woman and very bad for the guy who found her.
