The Chamber is really, really pushing "immigration reform". Why???

Take away the welfare and perma-unemployment checks and they will get willing REAL fast.

“in an op-ed that the U.S. needs more low-skill immigration because Americans are not “qualified” or “willing” to do such work.”
Not qualified enough for low skill work??? What a load of hog wash.

In saner times, folks like Donahue would have been tried and punished for Treason
The same folks who push Globalism, Liberalism, and Free Trade...are the same ones who push Illegal Alien Amnesty. That is an indisputable fact
We have folks that are willing to work. Instead of hiring Illegal Aliens and shipping jobs to Communist China...hire an American.
We need to purge and remove all Economic Anti-Americans

It seems they are the ones the republicans respond to (work for), and not media pressure nor a prospective voting bloc

As long as they can get paid to sit on their butts there are people who simply will not work.
What is going to stop many of those coming in to fill those low level jobs from transitioning to welfare as soon as they can?

Qualified? How can you NOT be qualified to an entry-level job? Willing? Yes, but if we tell lazy people to get to work since your lifestyle is not accepted.
Say no to the Chamber of Big Business.

Wait until it happeneds and the low information voters are still unemployed. Will they just pay them to stay home while the illegals take the jobs?

How can you NOT be qualified to an entry-level job? You can't speak, read, or write English is one big disqualifier. Not having basic math skills is another. There are others, like being an addict, having a criminal record, or weighing 400 lbs., but the first two are the main ones.

We have a huge pool of citizen workers now unemployed and living off the tax payers dime. All immigration, legal and illegal, should cease until they are put back to work. The Chamber is promoting the wrong issue.

That’s exactly it.
It should be telling, enlightening, that every policy of the left is the exact opposite of the wisdom taught in the Word of God.

“Not willing to work”...then we’re giving out too much ‘welfare’ type assistance.

My first job other than pushing a mower around the neighborhood was on a chicken farm, 20 bucks a week. I rode my bike 12 miles each way to get there until I saved enough to buy a 1947 Cushman scooter.
