(HONOLULU) -- The dramatic images of a small plane crash in December that killed one person off the coast of Hawaii were made public Thursday.
A passenger was recording video as the Dec. 11 crash occurred.
In the images, the Makani Kai Air’s 2002 Cessna Grand Caravan turboprop can be seen about to hit the water. It descends straight down to the ocean and crashes on the surface.
In the video, the passengers can be seen making their way out calmly. They clutched the wing to stay afloat. In two groups, they floated for an hour in choppy waters until they were rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard.
One of the nine people onboard died -- Hawaiian health official Loretta Fuddy.

I can’t wait for the CIA animation of ‘what really happened.’ It will prove that the plane split into 2 pieces then climbed 3000 feet after the center fuel tank exploded whereupon a bald eagle rammed Fuddy in the forehead triggering a stroke.

So why is Ferdinand Puentes wearing a U.S. Marshal’s cap in the water in one of the photos.
Is he a U.S. Marshal? Or does the U.S. Coast Guard hand out U.S. Marshal caps during rescues?

Good question. If it's his, I find it interesting that he was able to keep it on during a plane crash and survival swim. Must be important to him.

After viewing this video. I see no reason why Ms. Fuddy would have died. Surely, the reporter interviewing him would have asked about the only passenger who died, Loretta Fuddy.
Maybe the investigation is taking so long cause (????):
1) One guy on board wears a US Marshall Ball Cap, if real, maybe he is an oathkeeper
2) Guy records crash with his GoPro
3) Did people leave plane without life vests?
4) Life vest were not sufficent, had to use cushions to stay afloat.
5) I may have seen people in water without a vest, and some gut on the wing distributing vests???
6) Crash readiness 100% FUBAR ?????????

Or, as the old saying goes,”The only way two people can keep a secret is if one of them is dead.” Now, the secret can be kept.
Not sure if it's the same hat, but he was wearing one when the plane departed.

After applying advanced computer enhancement techniques I was able to delineate a mysterious 10th person sitting next to Fuddy. It appears to be a negroid woman, although the image could just as easily be a man….) approximately 6 feet tall weighing around 180 pounds. She’s wearing an Afro wig and a Boob Belt. Moments before impact you can see here inject Fuddy with a syringe which probably contained potassium chloride. The woman then dives underwater and appears to swim toward Oprah Winfrey’s house on the shore. Then the image vanishes.

While in the water, Puentes took a picture of himself with his bright-yellow life preserver nestled closely around his neck.
One of the passengers managed to swim ashore while the others waited it out until the rescuers finally arrived.
“It gave me a little hope when we saw the first plane. The one that came and circled around,” passenger Key said.
The passengers were eventually rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard. Authorities say the cause of the crash was likely engine failure.
Meanwhile, Fuddy’s death in the crash fueled conspiracy theories because she was the public official who released President Obama’s birth certificate in 2011 after repeated inquiries, proving he was born in the United States.
Fuddy made it out of the sinking plane fine, but died after escaping. It’s unclear what caused her death.
Passengers credited the pilot, Clyde Kawasaki, for landing the plane right-side up, which allowed passengers time to exit.
Was Fuddy dead at the scene, or did she die later?
Why no distress call from the pilot when the engine failed?

Either the video has been highly edited or the photographer was turning camera on and off or both.
