I don't think so. They have tried to decimate the Tea Party. We need to show the country that we are still viable. This would encourage conservatives to run. I'm tired of the RINOs pushing us to the side and taking our votes for granted and then voting with the liberals. Egypt came out in force. Surely, we can come out in force. We need to prove that the Tea Party is not dead. If we want leaders to emerge, we need to be there for them. To give people the chance to meet up and share ideas and make a statement.
I'm with you Jim. We need a march soon. To prove we are out there. I feel abandoned and I'm sure other Tea partiers do too.

The mandate that health plans must fully cover any form of contraception is of a piece with the way that Obamacare centralizes judgment about treatments, and tries to establish a universal convention when it comes to the practice of medicine.
Obamacare pushes these decisions into the hands of unaccountable boards, all but ensuring that these considerations will be the stuff of politics indefinitely.
The scheme that created the contraception mandate gets to the very heart of how the law puts Washington in charge of establishing medical standards by erecting a series of largely unaccountable committees to set rules on what medical care we should and shouldn’t have access to. The regulations they establish don’t just apply to Obamacare plans, but any private health insurance that consumers buy.
I'm sure Jim used the “Ten Million Man March” as meaning both, but I do like the suggestion someone had here:
“Ten Million American March” or maybe “Ten Million Teaparty March”.
The question mark needs to be replaced with an exclamation point in the title.
I like the April 15th date, but conservatives work, so it should be on a Saturday or Sunday. The week before tax day would be great. Summer may be even better for Freepers.
Who organized the Freeper Convention a few years back? That was great. We need those people back on board for this. I got to meet some of the stars in the TeaParty.
I went the next year to the TeaParty rally too. It wasn't as big. I think it had to do with the split. Glen Beck had one the week before and most people couldn't go two weekends in a row.
I was thinking theme song. Maybe it will show how low we have sunk to have to give the Egyptian’s some credit for inspiring the big show.
I’m ready for that. In fact, I think that is the only way we’ll see real change.

However, I read something by you just recently about "civil nullification". That could impact this debacle, but how many are willing to chance the IRS? Sorry to say, but we are long past marches/rallies and that States' rights is the ONLY solution now.
I believed, as we all did during VetsCor days, that States' rights is the only way back. Individual civil disobedience will always be limited. State nullification is our way back.
Just read some 11 Governors are suing Obama regarding his EO's that changes the law on a weekly basis. Unfortunately, it's been shown that the HHS has the authority to tweek the regulations as Sebelious sees fit. It's written many times into Obamacare law that nobody bothered to read.
Now we know. It's no longer a mystery why Pelosi said, "We have to pass it to see what's in it". The socialists knew all along the HHS had the power of regulation to change it at will.
Although this is mostly about individual liberties while being told to buy a product, the States have the power to just NULLIFY it, where individuals don't at the moment - think Robert's tax.
My best solution is to lobby/write/rally State Governors to ignore Obamacare. Then what, you ask?
Those States set up a real exchange with inter-state cross-over plans, as in competition, and tort reform to start.
The ONLY good thing to come out of the Roberts ruling is that the Fedgov can't reduce returned revenues if the States don't adhere to the new Medicaid requirements. That set a huge precedent. And as we all are reading, most of the applications for Obamacare is for Medicaid.
You want a 10million Man March? Forget DC, and go to your State Capitols! Organize THAT around the country! Just don't do it mid-week when people are working. I'd be in front of such an effort or just follow as directed.
