My writing partner on Who is John Galt? and fellow FReeper, Billthedrill, had a coronary episode the other night. He's having a pacemaker installed about right now.

He needs some luck and a prayer or two.

OK, so how bad does this suck? Picked up Mom's ashes and settled in for a relaxing evening. Woke up feeling funny. Read and FReeped all day, went to bed. Went to the emergency room at 1:20 AM, ambulance ride to Coeur d'Alene, pacemaker going in in about an hour.

I gotta get back to work. Vacation is killing me.

Hey, we got a second royalty check! Woohoo!

More later as it eventuates. Wish me luck.
