Charlie Rangel: The Tea Party “Cult” is Suffering from an “Illness”

Representative Charlie Rangel (D-NY) recently expressed his puzzlement over the conservative wing of the Republican Party. In between incoherent ramblings and fragmented sentences, the congressman explained that the tea party is a cult group that suffers from an apparent illness.
Politics is (sic) changing for me at this late age, to have to deal with a cult-type of group of people, said the man who recently allocated millions of taxpayer dollars to a New York library named in his honor. (Maybe hes speaking out of jealousy?)
When a handful of people [I assume he is referring to the tea party coalition in the House of Representatives] can control a larger number of people, to repeal a law that has been passed by the House, the Senate, and declared constitutional by the courts - and they campaign on the issue that it should be repealed- this is past Civics 101. This is illness, said the Congressman who has inexplicably remained in office since 1971. (Whoa
Talk about mental illness!)
Watch the video of the congressman taking a stab at coherent political dialogue:

I’m sitting here wondering if Charlie Rangel has heirs to will his criminal enterprises to. If so, let’s hope they take charge soon.

The fugitive slave act was passed by the House, the Senate and upheld by the courts. Was it an illness for those who desired to repeal it?

Jessy Jackson’s son is a sick puppy. Clinton was a serial sexual abuser. Democrats are pathological liars. Me thinks the Tea Party is afflicted with the same disease that the slaves that revolted under Caesar in Rome had.

One day, when the world is not upside down, Charlie Rangel will be in jail for tax evasion (among other felonies).
That's my New Years "revolution."

So, if something is bad (as Obamacare clearly is), it can never be repealed if it has been approved by the Senate, House and the Supreme Court? Perhaps we should follow Mr. Rangel's personal example and ignore the (tax) law.

Are we sure rangel doesn’t have syphilis? That does have dementia as one of the symptoms if left untreated.

Slavery was found to be constitutional. Was this an illness to want to see it end?

You would hope he would know better than to ascribe medical classifications or conditions to groups who believe differently from him.

Wonder if Obamacare has “treatment” for this illness?
Wouldn’t be surprised, actually. Shades of the old Soviet mental health treatments might be in store for those of us who do not toe the “party line”!

What do you call a small band of people that refuse to be deceived and stands for truth?
Fanatics?
Narrow minded?
Hold outs?
Passe'?
Bigoted?
Racists?
Cultists?
... that is, if you're among the deceived.
