Three years ago, Maj. Daniel Toven couldnt imagine being married, let alone having a ceremony in Fort Braggs Main Post Chapel. Like all gay soldiers at the time, he was living under the policy of dont ask, dont tell a policy that kept separated his personal life and his work.
But after a whirlwind of changes that began with the repeal of the ban in 2011, Toven and his partner, Johnathan Taylor, have broken ground.
The pair, who wed in Washington, D.C., in August, blessed their marriage before more than 100 people at Fort Bragg on Saturday.
The ceremony while not technically a wedding, which would be barred by state law is believed to be the first for a same-sex couple at Fort Bragg.
The couple exchanged vows and were blessed in front of their family and friends packed in the chapel, which dates to 1934.

I’ll start supporting the military again when Barry Sinclair Obama is no longer sodomizing the military that I served in for 25 years. No one tells anyone to join the US military. Anyone that has joined since the fag-loving Sinclair-Obama became commander in chief of that military has no support from me. They knew what they were getting into and apparently the sodomization of the services does not bother the vast majority of them. I support veterans. I am lifemember of the VVA, DAF, and VFW. So to all active duty soldiers with any morals left, show your support for God and country and do NOT REENLIST when you come is up. And for all you men out there in this country that are thinking of joining the Armed Services, the ones that have any morals I am talking about, do yourself a favor and go to some trade school and learn how to build something. You will be supporting your fellow man in their basic needs without compromising your principles in the process.
Do you actually KNOW anyone in the military today?
“Be not deceived. God is not mocked.” Galatians 6:7. No matter what the cowardly surrender monkeys in our military brass say, this is no “marriage” in God’s eyes.
They may have “blessed” their fornicating life style, but God certainly doesn’t.
“In Your Face, America!”
Sick bastards, all of them.
Odumbo is definitely in control.
I will not be sharing your advice with my just commissioned Marine 2nd Lt son. I am not really into surrender as an option.
The people in the photo are not members of the military?
This is to be celebrated?
Yes they are. BUT how many of them are there voluntarily. Thats what id like to know. If any of them are, there are millions more who wouldnt attend this ceremony.
That’s enough to gag a maggot.
And this fairy expects to lead men into combat?
What happens when a military brother and sister want to “marry?”
From the picture it looks like the guys with the swords are trying like hell not to laugh at these two queens.
And also anyone that gets a ticket on the US installation called Fort Bragg, REFUSE to pay it in a NC court room. If queers think they can get “married” on a federal installation and it’s legal, even though the state that installation is located on does not allow sodomite “marriage”, refuse to pay the state of NC one dime if you get a spending ticket driving though the base. Cite the two queers “marriage” and how they ignored the law of the state and went right ahead with their “marriage”. Take it to the NC Supreme Court.
What I am trying to say is their “marriage” is not only illegal in the eyes of God it is illegal in the state of NC and the Episcopal “pastor” who broke NC law by performing the ceremony should be arrested. If you are stationed on Fort Bragg you have to abide ALL THE LAWS of the state of North Carolina. End of story. See how many liberal TV stations will say the “marriage” was illegal? Not a damn one, including Fox News.
This is where I lose it. I don’t care if people want to bung each other all day, nine if my business...but I DO care when my TAX DOLLARS support something I consider vile. You and I paid for this wedding, the facilities and the uniforms.
The bad news: the correction will be hell on earth.

What a horrible position for a young military officer of strong morals to be in.
If a young Marine complains to him that his SGT is making gay passes at him, what does the young officer do?
This is just sick....sick....sick.....
My son is a Master Sgt in the Air Force and he definitely does not agree with this disgusting policy, so don’t judge.
Nativity Scene Ordered Removed from Air Base
Airmen at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina were ordered to take down a Nativity scene only hours after they put it up, military officials said.
The Nativity scene was erected in advance of the base’s annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Airmen said they sent an email to base commanders asking if they could put up a Nativity scene — and invited servicemen of other faiths to create a display of their own. After receiving no such offers, the airmen went ahead with the scene.
Shortly after it went up, base commanders received a phone call from the Military Religious Freedom Foundation. The group’s president, Mikey Weinstein, said he’d received calls from personnel at the base complaining about the Nativity scene, the Sumter, S.C., newspaper the Item reported Tuesday.

Pentagon, DOD Pride celebrate gays in military
The Pentagon on Tuesday toasted gays in the military, with a top adviser to President Obama declaring the country is “safer” now that they may serve openly in the ranks.
“Because we repealed ‘don’t ask, don’t tell,’ our military ... is stronger and our country is safer, more equal and more just,” said Valerie Jarrett, the keynote speaker at the Pentagon’s gay pride celebration.

I knew the America destroyers would get Hollyweird, the “media”, the schools and BIG business but I never thought they’d get the military. What a shame. If this is “evolution”, I don’t want any part of it.
