Cracker Barrel has become the first sponsor to cut bait with "Duck Dynasty" ... but not entirely.
The Southern-themed food chain reacted to Phil Robertson's anti-gay comments by removing "selected products which we were concerned might offend some of our guests" from their stores and restaurants.
We called a bunch of Cracker Barrel stores, and the managers told us the products that were removed were the ones that had Phil's face plastered on the packaging. Almost to a person, the managers added, "We still offer a wide variety of Duck Commander products," and then we heard a click.
C.B. offers this explanation ... "We operate within the ideals of fairness, mutual respect and equal treatment of all people. These ideals are the core of our corporate culture."

No more Cracker Barrel products for me. Join the boycott.
OK, wont
be eating there anymore
>>equal treatment of all people.
Adolph Hitler, the ultimate Socialist figurehead, is equal to you and me and Mother Teresa in the new faggotty world order.
Time for those million or so who clicked “Like” on Facebook to find somewhere else to eat. Anyone for Chick-fil-A for lunch?
Buh bye CB. Nice knowing you.
Restaurant decides to commit suicide.
I’ve never been to Cracker Barrel. None near me. But, if I ever got the chance, I wanted to go eat there.
Not any more.
Cracker Barrel just lost my business and gained my influence to convince others to never spend another dime there.
One suspects that CB (lawyers?) made a huge miscalc, here.
My ongoing question, about this situation, and situations such as Paula Deen, is:
if someone says something which the liberals object to, does that person have to disappear from public life? Do they really have to be shunned, have their TV shows and book deals cancelled, and disappear as if they never existed??
And, why is it that the liberals decide on the criteria for something said, which is so shocking to liberals, that the liberals decide who is allowed to be on TV?
And, since Phil was basically quoting Bible verses, have we reached a point at which the Bible itself is considered hate speech, per liberal criteria? And again, why is it that liberal criteria are the criteria which decide who is allowed to be a public figure?
Plenty of product at Wally world still.
I do want a duck call for the upcoming
Tea Protests and campaigns.
Their service is SOOOOO SLOW. Ya can't just eat there quick if you are trying to make time on a long haul drive.
They need to take their “corporate culture” and shove it.
You would think that the Cracker Barrel people would understand what it is like to be persecuted in this country for being conservative, Christian, white, male and from the South.
Here is the email I just sent them:
You people have literally NO gay customers.
By pulling Phil Robertson products you have rejected your normal customers.
Good bye, I will not ever stop there any longer since you took the side of the gay bullies.
Ya know, I travel a lot, have for many years, 80% in an Auto. Never ate at a cracker barrel except once. Now I have a reason to not do it again.
I would suggest everyone do not tune into A&E, unless DD is on. Kindergarten, show and tell.
Time to slam the door on these jerks too. Facebook, company comment site etc.
