Fox News Channel host Megyn Kelly took on the left-wing hate mob that has come after her following a humorous segment that she featured on her program Wednesday evening in which she and her guests staged a mock debate over the racial identity of Santa Claus.
To the haters, Kelly had a message tonight: Lighten up and learn to realize what satire is. “Humor is a part of what we try to bring to this show but sometimes that is lost on the humorless,” she said.
Since the Wednesday segment, an absurd controversy has been swirling around the newly minted primetime host in which Foxophobic television and internet outlets seemed unable (or unwilling) to comprehend that the entire segment, which began with a satirical disclaimer to “kids at home” that Santa was white and did exist, was not to be taken seriously.
After playing several clips of various television shows reacting to her remarks, Kelly commented further on the response: “This would be funny if it were not so telling about our society. In particular, the knee-jerk instinct by so many to race bait and to assume the worst in people, especially people employed by the very powerful Fox News channel.”
Indeed. As we noted yesterday, it seems that many leftists in this country seem to be psychologically disturbed that there is one television channel which is not controlled by Democratic partisans and therefore they seek to turn even the tiniest molehills into mountains when it comes to Fox News. The entire segment was a joke and for people to pretend otherwise speaks negatively of their intelligence or their honesty.

The “race” of Jesus is more interesting (if also almost as pointless to debate as the race of fictional character like Santa who is almost always portrayed as Northern European looking). I would figure he was probably short and swarthy like most people of his time from that region of the world. Jews however are indeed considered “White” as far as I know.
And he probably didn’t have long hippy hair like my uncles had in the 70’s.
I watching something on the history channel about Hannibal and was surprised to find him portrayed as looking like “The Rock” or Vin Disel and walking around shirtless. Carthage was a multi-ethnic society but a guy from an upper class family like Hannibal wouldn’t have been Black. Not quite as idiotic as all the alien and ghost shows that infest that channel but still pretty bad.
Cleopatra is frequently claimed to be have been Black. Which makes zero sense because ancient Egyptians weren’t Black and she was an inbred Greek anyway.
Why Blacks are so eager to claim a failed military leader like Hannibal and a whore like Cleo is a mystery to me.

The left is in hysterics right now, calling Kelly “stupid” and hailing Jon Stewart for ripping apart her logic and claiming Stewart is far more intelligent then that “stupid woman”
The difference being is that Stewart has nearly two dozen writers while Kelly is smart as a whip, has a JD in Law and a degree in PolySci while Stewart’s job history includes:
“a puppeteer for children with disabilities, a soccer coach at Gloucester High School in Virginia, a caterer, a busboy, a shelf stocker at Woolworth’s, and a bartender at the Franklin Corner Tavern, a local blue-collar bar.”
Yeah, Stewart is a real genius compared to an Attorney that worked for a major law firm for 10 years while Stewart was stocking shelves and busing tables.

DManA — you are being a jerk. The person said Santa was BASED on St. Nicholaus. Apparently you are totally unfamiliar with the poem “The night before Christmas.” “Santa Claus” is referred to as “St. Nick.” Catch a clue and stop hating white people.
Why does Santa have to be in the gospels? The Easter Bunny and tooth fairy aren’t in the gospels either is there anything wrong with children believing in magical beings which bring enchantment to their young imaginations? I don’t know anyone who looks upon Santa Claus as a God.
St Nicholas was a citizen of the empire of Byzantium a Romano Greek society. A good guess would be that he looked in coloration like Angela Tanterros of Fox who is of Greek extraction

Kelly is not ladylike, so she probably would not have a problem saying that.
As for the homosexuals, I doubt they have a problem with Kelly, as she is very pro-homosexual, which is one of the things that turned me off about her.
The real reason she is being attacked is because her show has been doing really well. She has been very effective and she is very pretty.
They have been working on another Limbaugh attack too because he is effective.
