Ted Cruz "Thanked" In New TV Ad Campaign - Airing on Thanksgiving
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Monday, November 25, 2013
CONTACT: Ryan Gill - RyanJamesGill@gmail.com
This Thanksgiving Day powerful TV ads will air across the state of Texas "thanking" Senator Ted Cruz for leading the fight against Barack Obama's failed ObamaCare healthcare scheme. The ads will run during the highly-rated NFL Thanksgiving Day football games and during the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade on one-dozen (12) TV stations across Texas.
The TV ads are paid for by the Conservative Campaign Committee (website: www.ConservativeCampaign.org), a federal political action committee that endorsed Cruz for Senate in the 2012 runoff election and ran ads supporting his campaign then - and the organization is proud to continue to support Cruz today. "Senator Cruz has clearly been vindicated in his efforts to stop ObamaCare from causing real harm to millions of Americans. Senator Cruz was right about ObamaCare, and Barack Obama was wrong, and now the American people know the truth," said Lloyd Marcus, Chairman of the Conservative Campaign Committee.
The 60-second ad can be viewed online here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4d9m-7LXTzI
The ad will air on the following TV stations in Texas, and the total cost of the ad buy is approximately $50,000:
The Conservative Campaign Committee Chairman, Lloyd Marcus, also penned a column for American Thinker supporting Cruz's fight against ObamaCare that was published today: "Mr. Cruz Goes to Washington"
And Conservative Campaign Committee Vice Chairman, Selena Owens, penned this column on Senator Cruz's bold leadership of the conservative movement: "GOP Needs More Leaders, Not Managers"

Given that Matt Bevin just completely blew out McConnell in a Kentucky Republican straw poll, perhaps those fears are overblown media creations.
Could be, however, it doesn't hurt in this scenario to be safe and double-down against the likes of Karl Rove and the GOP-E.
We need to destroy their base of power AND defend those standing with us like Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, etc.

Never let the enemy determine the field of battle. Use every resource to tactical advantage.
Over and over, I see "the professionals" wreck campaigns for their own benefit. The classic was when Bill Simon ran for governor and Parsky and crew stipulated Wilson Jones. The consultants tend to see everything through media and ad buys, in part, because they make their money on a percentage. It is this fee structure that has turned politicians into corporate whores, paying our enemies (the MSM) to get our message out and giving them advanced notice of every move.
I'm damned tired of it.

EXCELLENT point. Plus, I live north of Austin—you know “little San Fran” —and won’t see it. I helped pay for it and I want it shown EVERYWHERE!!! ;-)

EXCELLENT !!!
Ted Cruz's 21 hours are a turning point in US history, if constitutional conservatives don't back down.

Excellent! Watching Cruz speak words, is like listening to Mozart play notes.
If I'm ever lucky enough to meet him to thank him, I will let him know...I'm in love with his brain. Wow - what an ability to debate, stay on topic, recall issues/facts from previous conversations/news items, and how he "gets it" (Liz Cheney is very good at this too) when it comes to NOT accepting the premise of a question posed to him.
I watched some of the 21 hours and he can collect thoughts and verbally fire back when fired upon--and keep it kind to the point of his opponents not even knowing he's made a fool out of them and their points. My husband says it's because he lives and breathes his positions--they're in his heart. I think that he's talented/gifted first, and then what my hubby says. Not all people that are firm in their convictions can articulate their points, as masterfully.
America needs to CRUZ-WEST from D.C. in 2016!!!

Don't get me wrong, you are 100% correct in your assessment of "the professionals".
"The Professionals" were the sole reason Cucinelli lost as well. Hiring the scum of the earth Romney people to run his campaign, as I have heard, was fatal.

Don't get me wrong, you are 100% correct in your assessment of "the professionals". Then go back and look at the ad that was posted at the top of the thread, compare it to the one I proposed in post 26 to Impeach98, and tell me that what the professionals propose to do is a superior strategy. I don't see it. Theirs looks to me like an ad agency hustling for cash flow in an off year.

I just “shared” it on Facebook for my nearly 1000 friends across the country. If everyone will do this on other forums, it WILL get national attention!
Maybe I’ll share it on Ted Cruz’s FB page and Twitter page, too. HE can run with it.
