Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said on a conference call organized by Karl Rove’s Crossroads organization for large donors and their advisers on Oct. 30 that the Tea Party movement, in his view, is a “nothing but a bunch of bullies” that he plans to “punch … in the nose.”
On the call, according to a donor who was on it, McConnell personally named Sens. Mike Lee (R-UT) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) as Tea Party conservatives he views as problematic for him. “The bulk of it was an attack on the Tea Party in general, Cruz in particular,” the source, a prominent donor, said in a phone interview with Breitbart News.
But the most memorable line came at the end of the call.
“McConnell said the Tea Party was ‘nothing but a bunch of bullies,’” the source said. “And he said ‘you know how you deal with schoolyard bullies? You punch them in the nose and that’s what we’re going to do.’”

I thought it was closed, but I read somewhere it was just changed to open primary.
In which case, Dems could cross over and vote McConnell in again. Hillary will be pretty much the winner on the Dem primary ballot...and a lot of liberal voters may turn out to have some fun over in the GOP primary.

Exactly right. Mitch, among many other R elite, seem to forget who help get them elected. Well not anymore for me. Holding my nose while voting doesn’t appear to move the cause along. It just allows these power hungry jackals to stay in power.

I believe there's some truth in that, but I feel the efforts by The Beast to constrain us from taking our leave would be feeble, and would be quickly turned aside by a people who no longer felt any allegiance whatsoever, to what would by then be recognized as the malignant and illegitimate cabal that it is.
In fact, our severing political ties with that degraded and corrupted institution would magnify their illegitimacy to the world, and force them to show their true weakness to all.
Those shallow, empty souls, who seek to bind us into a new era of serfdom and slavery, are followed by millions of similar sunken beings. These parasites have no ability to create wealth or basic survival for themselves, and have no sense of honor, courage, or real purpose. They serve a lower calling, and their common denominator is cowardice.
I do not fear them, and neither should any patriot. We own the moral high ground, and would win the fight, should they force us to stand against them.
