Barack Obama being clear that his team messed up Obamacare made it hard for liberal PBS NewsHour pundit Mark Shields to try Democrat Happy Talk.
Instead, Shields joined the liberal gloomfest: “If this goes down, if the Obama -- if health care, the Affordable Care Act is deemed a failure, this is the end -- I really mean it -- of liberal government.” He even acknowledged Obama lied about Keeping Your Plan:
MARK SHIELDS: That is -- wasn't a true statement. And you're driven to one of two conclusions. Either the president was almost -- almost negligently uncurious in not asking about what the answer was, or he made the choice to trade his considerable reputation and record of integrity for short-term political gain. That's why they had to come and that's why there was such consternation in the ranks.
JUDY WOODRUFF: How do you explain it, David, what happened, with the president acknowledging yesterday that he wasn't on top of it?
DAVID BROOKS: Yes, I think it is politics. They knew that they -- getting this thing passed -- we were there -- it was hard. And so they were pulling out every political stop in the book. And a lot of those political stops have made it harder now. The first early one was, they were really late in issuing the regulations because they didn't want them to come out during the campaign so Romney could attack them.
As a result, the whole implementation got pushed back, and that's part of the reason the Web site is such a mess. And then they made this political calculation. Then they made the -- that they weren't going to tell you there will be losers here. And they made the political calculation....

you questioned whether or not there were even people without homes, people going hungry prior to 1933. I didn’t read that wrong did i?
The issues are here now and today. This isn’t 1880 when every person could eventually find their way out west and live off the land. Focus on the now. Do you think the churches of this nation can feed and shelter all the unemployed?
I’m not saying this is all about the government, not by any stretch of the imagination but we do need jobs. The jobs we do have, the engineering and such positions are great but we need back millions of factory jobs that government policies let get away.
You don't just "live off the land". You have to work to make that happen.
Even in 1880 you poor people because you always will have people who are poor and it's a utopian dream to think that won't happen.
The church's role has been usurped by the Gov't. As church-goers have to pay more in taxes, the church is deprived of the money they would normally use to care for the poor.

Of course we do. But the current Gov't doesn't want the poor to benefit by having work. Their whole aim is to increase dependency.
regardless of what you say the church is simply not prepared to take care of 20 million or more people. And ha ha. you don’t say,one has to work the land. Again ha ha. Just where is this open land for the taking? People were encouraged to settle. Is that the case now? Maybe a few thousand could find spots and basically live under the radar AFTER building a shelter that not very many could build on their own.
I never said they would take care of 20 million; because you will never take care of everybody no matter what kind of system you have.
What I did say is that the Gov't has stolen the role of helping the unfortunate from the church. The church in general would do a much better job because they are closer to the people in need at the grassroots and can better judge what those needs are. Gov't largess takes money which would ordinarily be directed at providing charity and creating jobs and directs it toward dependency, not real help.
I know from history that the Obamaciles’ signature creation will match or exceed the Communist failures of he past.
The Team Obama, in their effort to redesign one seventh of the U.S. economy, failed to get the necessary education for the engineering job. If they had, they would have known a centralized planned entity like health care is a failed effort. Health care can only exist in the free market system.
In caring out my Boeing 787 Dreamliner analogy, they are trying to fly a death trap for the American people. For this reason, they are unfit to lead this nation. If I had my way they all would be facing criminal negligence charges.
For your information, check out the State of Florida’s 24 counts of third degree murder charges against SabreTech, Inc. The charges came from the 1996 ValuJet DC-9 disaster. SabreTech was found guilty of 9 charges of murder. In 1998, the FAA fined SabreTech $2.25 million for improperly preparing the oxygen canisters for shipment on the plane.
There are other cases of manufacture neglect. Let’s apply the same logic against the Obama Syndicate.

Last week I saw some impeach protestors on an
over pass of Ga.400. Today someone had nailed
a plywood sign up on a tree “Impeach!”.
People are fed up.
