Health & Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius testifies on the hill, Wednesday, concerning healthcare.govs problems since its October 1 rollout. Shell answer questions before the House Energy & Commerce Committee.
This is the committees second hearing related to the website problems. Last week, four government contractors hired to help build the site testified. Tuesday, Marilyn Tavener, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator, appeared before the Ways & Means Committee.
CMS is responsible for setting up the federal marketplace for insurance exchanges and the Medicaid expansion. Rep. Fred Upton chairs the committee and Rep. Henry Waxman serves as Ranking Member.
I agree - but that's not the line being being pursued.
All these old people need to loose elections. Good grief...embarrassing. .the GOP is over! Time to get rid of them all. Tea Party is the future!
Lovely. Now a California Dem up.
“It’s my understanding that November 31st is a hard date...”
LOL!!
Hall was asking about problems with the law - Sebilius doesn’t care; her job is implementation. Those questions were for 3 years ago.
Eshoo just said Nov 31st HA!
Well, I’ve got enough of this circus. I’m watching reruns of The Golden Girls
They are idiots on display. I yelled at the TV, THERE IS NO SUCH DAY!
It’s “settled law”.
I say we make them enforce it - all those not signed up by the “settled law’s” hard date will be penalized.
How come all the democrats make snarky comments about republicans and the republicans thank the democrats?
Where’s her Dalmatians?
Dems spend their mic time attacking and belittling the Republicans for asking questions.

One soundbite: Sebilius claims she, not the contractor, is responsible for the website and the website fiasco.
Ironically, the website is down this morning.
Sebilius did blame Verizon for the Saturday down time, as the Verison ‘cloud’ had crashed.
THERE IS NO SUCH DAY!
and, THERE IS NO SUCH GUARANTEE THAT IT WILL BE FIXED.
She replied ,’No, but the good news is they can walk away and join the exchange and be givem plenty of options’
Twilight zone!
Not useless - this is the key- they want the data - this is the agenda right here.
I agree - but that’s not the line being being pursued.
**********
This is about implementation - if the website requires input info and then goes down - where does the data go? Data confiscation
Do you really think a website should go down like this? It is a ruse a red herring - a cover for what they are really doing.
So far, a win for democrats as usual.
I get FNC better here.
Wait a sec - there are connections to IRS/Social Security/etc. to verify info?? Is that legal??
The GOP is wasting time without getting to the real problems.
*********
They should be asking simple, pointed questions and citing hard facts. The GOP will find a way, once again, to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Pallone....and e-v-e-r-y Democrat voted for O/Care---Nationalizing 1/6th of the US Economy into a Democrat Cash Cow.. ALL the o/Care money from enrollments, fines, penalties, taxes and fees goes to your "reliable, trustworthy (gag) government."
============================================
(Sniffle) Frankly, I'm s-o-o-o afraid good ol' Chicago Val got Carpel-Tunnel Syndrome setting up all those offshore accounts for the Obamaturds....including Dem/pols who sold their aye votes for a percentage.....,and other corrupt insiders and scumbags. All of 'em salivating over the hundreds of millions of O/care dollars they thought would be pouring in (sob).
OMG---I just hope Mrs O did not have to cancel her order for new diamonds---she might actually be forced to wear her old diamonds (wipes away tears).
Mrs O wore her pricey diamond bangles (bought on a govt salary?) at a Texas DNC fund-raiser, attended by "tolerant and compassionate" Dems....raising big bucks to keep Mr O in office so he could work for "the poor."
Mrs O's diamond Gothic cuff was priced at $15,350 set with 2.17 carats in diamonds and the Quatrefoil bracelet at $11,800 set with 1.73 carats in diamonds.
