WASHINGTON, DC House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) released the following statement regarding the bipartisan Senate agreement to reopen the federal government and avoid a national default:
The House has fought with everything it has to convince the president of the United States to engage in bipartisan negotiations aimed at addressing our country's debt and providing fairness for the American people under ObamaCare. That fight will continue. But blocking the bipartisan agreement reached today by the members of the Senate will not be a tactic for us. In addition to the risk of default, doing so would open the door for the Democratic majority in Washington to raise taxes again on the American people and undo the spending caps in the 2011 Budget Control Act without replacing them with better spending cuts. With our nation's economy still struggling under years of the president's policies, raising taxes is not a viable option. Our drive to stop the train wreck that is the president's health care law will continue. We will rely on aggressive oversight that highlights the law's massive flaws and smart, targeted strikes that split the legislative coalition the president has relied upon to force his health care law on the American people.

He caved.
Which we now know includes up to 25 members of the Republican Minority in the Senate and and an equal number in the House.
I called my local board of elections just now. I am going to un-register to vote. Let the Democrats have it all!
By the way, Bohner, why don’t you just ask Reid to send you the immigration bill so you can pass it today? This way you can avoid any more confrontations.
Also, you might want to ask obamma what else he wants and go ahead and schedule a vote. No use fighting him if you are going to cave anyway!
By the way, you are worthless as a leader.
So basically, it’s not going to be something you enjoy - this Obmacare. Don’t worry, we’re here for you.
Whatever...
Since he is talking about the risk of default, it seems like he has pretty much admitted that he plans on simply bringing the bill to the House floor for a majority vote, which means pretty much a near 100 % chance of it passing.
In any event, now that actual conservatives have gotten national attention, now is the time to pick up the pace in our fighting this, from grassroots to federal levels and everything in between, and put even more pressure one everyone int he next round of debt fights.
We could have at least had a bargaining chip last night, but the Republican party is too split to even agree amongst themselves.
Just pathetic.
Did you think he wouldn’t, with every single media outlet, every Twitter, every Late Night Comedian, and the Daily Show saying the world would end, and the sun wouldn’t rise, if he didn’t?
Worthless. Absolutely worthless.
I hate the republican leadership.
Unfortunately, it’s the best that could be expected given the current makeup of Congress. But they held on for 16 days before they caved. And the Rats showed themselves vindictive by Barrycading open air monuments, preventing priests from saying mass for the Armed Forces, etc. Though not widely reported on the MSM, the social media reported enough to get any reasonably informed person information on what was happening. Of course the low-information voter still had no idea if he/she just listened to the afternoon soaps and gossip interview shows.
More like infiltrated than split. One part is the de-facto Democratic Party.
What a p*ssy.
"Good Luck to the rest of you who will have to continue to slave away to pay for it".
No-one could have predicted this. No one:

Except Newt did the exact same thing in 1996...shhhhh its a secret
However, even though you are watching us surrender unconditionally and suffer complete, utter, and total defeat, you should trust that we will find some way to fight targeted areas of Obamacare some time in the future.
IOW, having a GOP majority in the House means nothing. The Democrats still get everything they want with the GOP in charge of the House.
Fascists among us....
I say let’s do this again in 2-3 months. This will never end. We are broke. The one good thing Obama and the dims have done is to push all of this to the breaking point.
Did he mention how Obama convinced him by that EBT card debacle on Saturday?
He who pays calls the tune. The House controls the money. The Repubs control the House.
The surrender monkeys put on a little show to shore up their standing with Conservatives. Anyone that falls for it is an effn idiot.
