President Obama ‘Exasperated’ by Shutdown, Says, ‘I Have Bent Over Backwards to Work With the Republican Party’

President Obama said today that he was “exasperated” by the government shutdown and made clear that he will not negotiate with Republicans until Congress passes a clean bill to re-open the government and agrees to raise the debt ceiling.
“During the course of my presidency, I have bent over backwards to work with the Republican party,” the president told CNBC’s John Harwood in an interview. ”I think I’m pretty well known for being a calm guy. Sometimes people think I’m too calm. And am I exasperated? Absolutely, I’m exasperated. Because this is entirely unnecessary.”
“I am exasperated with the idea that, unless I say that, ‘Twenty million people, you can’t have health insurance,’ these folks will not reopen the government. That is irresponsible,” he said of Republicans’ repeated efforts to defund or delay his signature health care law as part of any bill to fund the government.
Just hours before the president was scheduled to meet with Congressional leaders at the White House, he said he’s prepared to “negotiate on anything” but not until Republicans agree to a clean piece of legislation to reopen the government and to increase the nation’s borrowing ability.

For days he’s been saying “I’m not budging” and “I shouldn’t have to give an inch”. Now suddenly he’s “bending over backward”? Bahahahaha...oh well this kind of thing isn’t meant for thinking people. It’s meant for Obamatrons who will eat it right up.
He can end the shutdown anytime he wants. He won’t unless he gets everything he wants. This isn’t going away.
The GOP will have to rent a spine, the rhetoric and skies are falling speaches have only just begun. Make barry back down this, push obamacare to the curb or dump it completely.
So he’s “exasperated.” He certainly doesn’t act like it. He refuses to negotiate. He rejects every proposal but forward. I hope he is “exasperated.” If so, it means we are winning!

The only ones actually saying this are Democrats.
They're the one's saying, "It's our way or the high way." They are the ones who refuse any negotiations whatsoever beyond 100% of what they want. They are the ones who insisted on a shutdown and refuse to pass Continuing Resolutions that would keep the government working, averting all the "pain" that their media has decided to decry 24/7.
It will be a shame if we can't make them own this in the eyes of the American people.
