So, the WWII memorial is open today... Park police letting everyone by right now. #shutdown

As noted in the last post, Congressman Steve King "distracted" the Capitol Park Police while the veterans, per their training, rushed over the barriers.
Here's a brief Vine video of the veterans reclaiming their Memorial from Obama's Shutdown Theater Prop Workshop.

The US Park Police were trying to close off the WWII Memorial as part of Obama's Shutdown Theater. Congressman Steve King and a veterans group over-ran the barricades and are occupying the Memorial.

Honor Flight vets just knocked over the barriers at the WWII memorial to get inside, #shutdown or no.

Hah, I love it. No one stands between Vets and their memorial. And believe me, those police are on the Vet’s side as well, in spite of their orders to shut it down. Kudu’s to Steve King. Every day of the shutdown, a Congressman or woman should show up at the WWII memorial, to make sure it stays open. Same at Viet Nam wall of names.
Time for guerilla warfare on our side.

There was NO reason to shut down the Memorial in the first place.

P.S., and lots of Vets need to show up too, old and young. Dismantle all barricades, every day. And biker Vets should show up to, on their bikes. The time has come to fight back.

Also, Congressman Steve Palazzo of Mississippi opened the barricade, allowing the vets to enter, while Congressman Steve King provided the distraction.
This is the best thing since the Brooks Brothers Riot of Florida 2000.

If the Park Police are working, why do they need to shut down the memorial?
