Doesn’t matter....It has to go through the DEM Senate and the president would sure never sign it. He’s just laughing his butt off.

If the House passes its bill Friday, it shifts the debate to the Senate, where Mr. Boehner says it will be up to a vocal group of Republican senators to rally the votes...........Time to start putting the heat on those spineless RINOs.

woohoo!!! The first step is a success!! Now we need to work even harder to make sure that the Senate does the right thing.

". . Top Republicans say their partys strategy is unlikely to succeed and not worth shutting down the government,. ." Whoever the fools were that said that need to be voted out. Weenies.

This was a gutsy and righteous move. The press will pile on them, but the people will thank them soon enough for having the foresight to stop this train wreck.

Actually, it WILL work, because some D senator has to decide whether he or she is going to impale himself on this or support a guy willing to through anyone and everyone under the bus (except Assad and Putin) to achieve his ends.
If they vote to cut funding, and still let the government run, the Senate can vote their conscience, keep the government running, and then say into the microphone afterward, “A moment of pause to get Obamacare right isn’t a bad thing.”
The House did its job. The asshat from Kentucky now better do his - deliver every Republican and peel off vulnerable D’s. This isn’t hard.
You send the thing to Obama’s desk, and when he vetoes it, both sides can say Obama shut the government down, not the Congress.
If it hasn’t occurred to D’s yet in Congress, Obama sees it as a bipartisan ‘FU, here’s to me’ arrangement.
It’ll work - you just need the testicular fortitude to do it.
And the senator from Kentucky needs to know that if he let’s this through, it will be forever known as “McConnellCare”

I would like to see a national poll about this question:
Does a government shutdown terrify you as much as the politicians and media think it should?

You fight to win, but if you lose, the fact that you fought is a moral victory, so don't give up the fight... Look in the book Revelation 21:8... it characterizes the kind of people who will be cast into hell; the first mentioned is "the cowardly". It is the brave who fight a war with little chance of winning, but it is the coward who surrenders and accepts the status quo so as to go on enjoying the comforts of the ruling class. To hell with the cowardly!
