Reuters Jeff Mason and Mark Felsenthal report: John Boehner, Republican speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, said on Tuesday he would support President Barack Obama's call for military action in Syria and urged his colleagues in Congress to do the same. Speaking to reporters after a meeting with Obama at the White House, Boehner said the United States had to respond to the use of chemical weapons in Syria and show allies that America would stand up when necessary.
Someone here was asking why the GOP-e was on the sidelines, quiet.
Well, their lips are super-glued to Barry’s skinny buttocks, that’s why.
And it’s not just this issue. Border security. Deficit spending. Degradation of our armed forces. Obamacare. And on and on and on.
Conservative party?
We could use a *second* party!
That’s why boner won’t be primaried. His opponent will be destroyed even if the “machine” has to make stuff up. And they are capable of making stuff up!
Obviously, as 80% at least of those here probably concur with, Benghazi was surely about arming the Rebels in Syria. I see AQ and MB trying to control everywhere, that’s the problem, in Egypt and tossed out there and most of the other spots as well.
So he speaks for reps? I’m so glad I finally had sense enough to quit the rep party.
Is this a new record of caving in? Boner and Cantor? Within minutes of each other? In the House? Where opposition was supposed to be “strong”? And the polls show public opposition at 70-80%?
Yep.

BACKGROUND MUSIC---"That Old Black Magic Has Me In Its Spell"
" This'll get done fast---I gotta get back to golf."
"A few measly bombs will pump-up all of our resumes,
especially Benghazi screw-ups Susan Rice, candidate Hillary...
and that pontificating jerk, Kerry. "
"And at $50 billion per day for the incursion, all who support me,
Republican and Democrat, will get a cut. Should be in the
neighborhood of a few $hundred million each. "
"War-profiteering is big bucks. Just ask the 'bombs-away neocons."
That damn *itch Michelle's nagging me for new diamonds and a
pricey Vineyard house."
“He must be primaried, assuming that will not work, we must vote for the Democrat in his district.” Apparently, he is the Democrat from his district.
They were for it before they were for it.
And yet, many Freepers will continue with the line that "a vote for a third party candidate is the same as a vote for a democrat". The real truth is that "a vote for a RINO is the same as a vote for a democrat".
WINNER!
These representatives are out of touch with the nation.
You are so kind...I call them Royal Order of the Douchebags....they make my skin crawl.
I'm afraid there's no denyin'
I'm just a dandy-lion
A fate I don't deserve
I'm sure I could show my prowess
Be a lion, not a mau-ess
If I only had the nerve.
After I went down to the courthouse and changed from a Republican to an independent, I started getting mail that made it sound like I was still a 'Pub, but that they couldn't believe I was letting the party down by not contributing $$$. It was like they didn't have any canned mail that asked why I left after 30+ years. Guess they didn't actually care about that.
Boehner and McCain have both clearly demonstrated this morning that they don't care about anything but their own sorry asses (and, it appears, Barack HUSSEIN Obama's sorry ass).
Mr. niteowl77
I'm in.

Did I just hear her have a Jimma/Ama Carter "Nuclear Proliferation" moment, discussing it with her 5 year old(grandkid?)about war/no war with Syria?
....what'a tool...what'a fool...
Where's your SanFran "hippie" outrage Nancy?
cant wait to find out what they have on him
*****
Boehner is obviously compromised. He was sitting next to Obama this morning with a sheepish look that just screamed of rolling over again. The Dems must really have something good on him.
My thoughts exactly! Also WRT the exact statement you quoted...
